Fiddler's Inn

You'll love this place. Cozy B&B and easy to get anywhere in town from here. Innkeepers are responsive and helpful, and we loved the space. Not only is the Inn itself great, but breakfast is two doors down at a great cafe (included in your stay). Great location for anyone going to Carlsbad Caverns NP and we would most definitely stay here again!

Area chain hotels are outside of downtown area with only fast food. Fiddler’s Inn is a neighborhood near some good restaurants. Very nice, comfortable, welcoming.

We met one of the owners/managers, Jen, upon check-in. Jen was pleasant but seemed a bit harried and we never heard from her again. We stayed in the room named Whiskey Before Breakfast which is described on their web site as "This room is perfectly designed with luxurious comfort in mind. Whiskey Before Breakfast is one of our newest suites, featuring an electric fireplace, vintage ceiling tiles, large sitting area and a luxurious bathroom, complete with a whiskey barrel sink and over-sized, soaking bathtub with a rainfall shower head." Very misleading description to put it mildly. The room is adjacent to the parking lot of a very busy dental practice. It has a door with translucent glass but other than that the room, NOT suite, has no windows so is dark and dingy. The whiskey barrel sink is old, leaky and beat up along will all of the other plumbing. The rainfall shower is caked with years of sediment from hard water. My second morning I was greeted by a 3" cockroach in the tub, probably came in through a crack in the tile. Overall, far from "luxurious comfort". Housekeeping with incomplete. One of two trash can's empties, water bottles not replaces, toilet, which needed 2 flushes most of the time, not cleaned. Great location and the breakfast place was excellent although the $18 voucher certainly didn't cover breakfast for my wife and I. Sadly can't come up with anything else good to say about our stay.

Quiet nice location. Very comfortable bed in a homey room with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely come back.

Close to the Pecos river and River Park. Very close to a nice grocery store. Cute little bed-and-breakfast. Very responsive for questions or problems.

Great location

My wife and I planned a drive from El Paso to Dallas so we could visit The Carlsbad Caverns. Then spent the night in Carlsbad at the Fiddler’s Inn. An absolute gem. Great little suite ( Westphalia). Comfortable room, quaint and romantic. Outside patio, backyard with tables, WiFi, fresh cookies, bedside mint, and earplugs if you need them. We highly recommend this spot. Restaurants near by (recommend Yellow Brix). Just a really great spot.

Helpful & pleasant staff/owners. Cute decor. Comfortable bed, great water pressure in shower. Walkable to pharmacy & some stores & restaurants. Cute cats on property. Great breakfast included at cute local cafe. Definitely would recommend staying here.
