Residence Inn San Diego Carlsbad

The hotel was very clean. The only issue is the bedrooms were a little small and there is no house keeping every day. So you will have to make up your bed and take out your own trash. House keeping on 2nd or 3rd day of stay so basically when you check out. Th e food was outstanding and they have many selections for all types of eaters. I just wished they had actual creamers not syrups. Either way I will be staying there again if going that route in our vacation again. Front desk are very nice and helpful. The pool was very clean and jacuzzi was very nice also. Over all a great hotel stay.

What we loved about our queen suite: It was spotlessly clean, and the housekeepers are terrific. The whole staff is wonderful - friendly, efficient, and helpful. The breakfast bar was great with lots of options, and I was amazed that they even had excellent decaf coffee, a rarity at most hotels. We loved how quiet our room was, the updated decor, the excellent work chair, the full kitchen, and the free parking. In all, we had a very good stay. There were a few things I thought could use some attention: Having no door on the bathroom sink meant that a couple who go to bed at different times will disturb one another. There is not enough space between the foot of the bed and the dresser. A large person would have a tight fit getting past it. Those factors didn't keep us from appreciating the hotel, but having paid a premium rate, we felt the value wasn't entirely in keeping with the price. That said, it was overall a terrific spot, and we would stay there again, perhaps avoiding the dates when the rates are especially high.

Would definitely return! Friendly staff, nice rooms, 24 hr gym, hot tub, and free breakfast!

After a long day at Legoland we were greeted by Trent and James who were so helpful in meeting our expectations of a great room to accomodate our family. This is the nicest Residence Inn I have ever stayed at. The rooms are very inviting and clean. Outside families were having barbeques, some kids were playing in the pool while other kids ate popcorn and watched a movie on the big screen. Loved the heaters, the fire pit and basketball court as well. When we return this will be my choice for a hotel!
