No one mentions the $50 damage deposit until you are completely checked in. Then it's 'Oh, we need $50 cash deposit for damages, refunded when you check out'. We leave at 6 am, office opens at 8 am. No problem we are told, we will refund on Sunday. On Sunday we were told no refund until you check out. Same person had audacity to call us 'liars' for stating we were told that. Had to wait to receive deposit refund. Can't understand the deposit policy...the room we stayed in (106) was a stink-hole!! The bathroom and sink area were FILTHY! Visible dirt and grime everywhere. The blanket was full of cigarette burns and the room smelled awful. Never saw any cleaning or upkeep entire visit. My request for clean linens was met with 'See if you can find the cleaning lady'? Furnace worked part of the time but was not functional much of time (E5 error?). Man at front desk (evening) didn't seem too interested in the problem. This room was just dirty enough to be 'dangerous'? You can be sure I carry cleaning supplies and used them prior to settling in. That doesn't help on bedding and carpets though. Curtains hang directly on top of furnace and appear to be fire hazard. (Rolled them up and tucked into window frame above?). We were traveling as a group and you can be sure we are ALL scouting for options for our next visit to the area. We are frequent visitors to Carson City but we would never entertain thought of staying in this establishment in the future.
