I spent five days here for a business trip and was really disappointed. The hotel itself looked very nice and was kept extremely clean, which is a huge plus. However the rooms could certainly use some work. I stayed in a king bed room and was expecting the bed to be somewhat comfortable. This was not the case. The bed was bumpy, lumpy and as felt as if I was sleeping on the box spring. The walls are insanely thin. I could hear full conversations from the other occupants on either side of me and was graciously woken up every morning by the sounds of either the wake up calls or their individual phone alarms. Not only that, the toilets flushing and showers from the bedroom above me. So all in all, the hotel wasn’t awful but certainly needs either some upgrades in the way of beds and noise. I would stay here again only if there wasn’t anything else available.

My wife and I went during the week, when the hotel is not very busy. For the price, our room was comfortable and spacious. Our bed was very comfortable and enabled us to sleep well. The hotel was quiet; the crowd was older and did not disturb us at all. The maid did an excellent job of providing a clean environment in room 250. Everything was in good working order. Hot water arrived immediately in the shower. Valet service is available to move luggage, but one may need to ask for assistance at the front desk. We used the jacuzzi and swimming pool. The two jacuzzi are kept at different temperatures to optimize guest comfort. One is 101 and the other is 104 degrees. The water features are indoors, so they can be used any day of the year. Parking ias ample and close in. Covered parking is limited. The hotel has two restaurants. One is a cafe and the other is fine dining. Reservations are recommended for fine dining. The hotel also has a coffee bar that sells donuts and snacks. Traveler Alert: if you are driving from California on a week day, U.S. 50 has no open restrooms between Fresh Pond and South Lake Tahoe. Expect delays from one lane traffic control and flag men. No restaurants or gas stations were open beyond Fresh Pond. Long stretches had reduced speed limits posted. On State Route 88, we had the same problem between Minden and Pine Grove. The 76 Union Station east of Pine Grove would not allow us to use their restroom either, so we will do no business there in the future. Interstate 80 is recommended as a reliable alternative.

This hotel is really good. It ’s actually a resort. By the lake, we have a lot of guests at the end of October. The reception hall is always full.
The decoration architectural style belongs to the atmospheric forestry + stone brick structure. There are dark sofas with bonfire fireplaces and bear elements.
The lake on the edge is very beautiful, suitable for watching the sunset
There are also very good high-end restaurants near the resort, and the produce is very good.
Overall highly recommended

Very satisfied, the price is just over $100, and you can enjoy the $250 hotels in the surrounding cities. In addition, the town where the hotel is located is not only an important town in the gold rush era, but also has a complete main street for shooting western movies, and there are performances on weekends. It only takes more than 20 minutes to drive from Carson City, which is definitely worth it.

Clean hotel, right on the water
Doesn't really have a beach this year with high water levels.
You have to request a room clean, they don't come every day.
Front desk barely ever answers the phone.
No breakfast.
Easy parking.
Nice bean toss/play area with turf and games for kids and adults.

Our visit was FABULOUS! We each had our own rooms. 2 regular rooms with our own beds and kitchenets and we had 1 big room with full kitchen, balcony and sitting area. This is the room we would meet up in and make plans. The Bell staff is 5 star! Helpful, funny and thoughtful! They were there for us for anything we needed. Had an issue with a fridge and engineering had it fixed within 45 minutes! Close to everything, pretty quiet, Bartenders are amazing and Happy Hour was great! Close to beaches, easy access. Parking is a little challenging if after 5pm... Recommend 1. Make a reservation 2. If you go during busy season be patient 3. Tip your servers of all faucets 4. Look around your room, there are extra towels, blankets and more. Great Trip, Brilliant staffing! We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Cedar Glen Lodge. Our arrival was slightly chaotic with cleaning still ongoing after check-in time, but it turned out OK in the end. We found our cabin to be cute, with a large bathroom. However, the place was very drafty near the door and windows, and often cold in spots even with the heater going. The kitchen was well-stocked for all cooking needs, but you do need to make sure you clean, dry, and put away all dishes before you leave or there’s an extra cleaning fee. The location was perfect, with a beautiful stretch of the lake accessible across the street. Other people mentioned a bottle of wine in their reviews, but we didn’t receive that. Charlie was a great staff person and we appreciated his efforts to make our stay a pleasant one.

YYinaReally enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was amazing, hot waffles, sausage, eggs, potato’s and bacon, plus non hot items too like cereal. Wifi was fast and easy to use. Bed was pretty comfy but could’ve used a better comforter. The shower and bathroom set up was kinda weird, there wasn’t a door for the vanity area so if youre staying with other people just keep that in mind. The hot tub was great too it’s outdoor so the temp is perfect and we really enjoyed our white claw that we bought from the front desk in the hot tub. Overall a really great stay!
FfrankVery satisfied hotel, very clean, new hotel, opened only 10 months. Check-in is fast at the front desk, with Wal-Mart, TACO BELL, star bucks nearby,
GGuest UserThe Hotel is across from Carson Tahoe Hospital, with my mother in the hospital, I had an 8 day stay. Caitlin was a jewel at the front desk. The king room is large with desk, window, comfy bed, pillows and linens, lounge sofa, microwave, refrigerator and large bathroom. There are washer and dryers for guests and they sell laundry soap, a snack area to purchase drinks and food. There is an indoor pool and jacuzzi, and desk area in the lobby with computers and printers. There is plenty of parking and they allow pets. I usually stay at the Hilton, but wanted to be close to my mom's hospital, they made my stay nice with no worries. The facility is very clean.
GGuest Userwill never get at their restaurant again !!! Probably will not stay there again I was been profiled by the cashier , I asked for a menu the cashier starred at me up and down and said we don't do take out , I said since when every time i stay here I order my food and go back to my room ,then she said nasty do you have a key I need to see it I showed her the key then she gave me a menu. ( There is a sign posted that they do take out orders) . I am Native American and very proud . In the morning I asked to talk to the manager told him what happened he seemed no to care !!
LlilkkThe hotel is rustic/historic so it is not kept to the same standards as some surrounding hotels. I believe it was built in 1977, so it does have some issues. The room itself is nice, comes with a hair dryer, ironing board, microwave, and fridge. It has a shower/tub combo, great for little kids. They offered free WiFi and breakfast. We didn’t ask about breakfast due to COVID, but other reviews said they had a brown bag of a few items. The staff was friendly and great when we had to interact with any. We did have a kid above us that ran back and forth and jumped for about and hour and a half so it was hard to get the kids to sleep with the noise (I never complain unless I need to, but we did have to call about the kid jumping on the bed and the staff was great at handling it).. There is a small parking garage under the motel, maybe 15 spots available. We would stay here again. There are pros and cons of this motel. PRO: The room was clean, great size for my husband, myself, and 2 small kids. Some amenities, right in downtown Carson City so many local places you can walk to if wanted. CONS: The shower is not really meant for anyone taller than 5’7”. I am 5’6” and I can touch the ceiling and the shower head is perfect height for me, someone around 6' might not get much of their head wet. Under the bed wasn’t vacuumed very well, found some crumbs, play fingernails, and a laminated photo of a kid. The WiFi didn’t connect for us and most of the tv stations were unavailable due to an interruption in service
RRick GChecked in for a couple of weeks while I had a job in town. The gal at the counter sent me to a room in the back. Strong odor of urine like a care facility but the overpowering smell of green-bud from the last tenant was the deal breaker. The smashed fiberglass shower floor was also a deal breaker. Back to the front counter. Office staff was helpful and let me look at another room before I committed. Asked for a room next to the office (I figured drug dealers would not want to stay there). That room was clean and tidy. spotless bathroom. Nice little fridge too. The only real detractor was I could hear everything going on in the room next to me through the locked interior door which would attach 2 rooms into one. If I had neighbors who stayed up late I needed to leave my TV on for gray-noise so I could sleep. Other than that, it was a convenient and clean place to crash while working in town.
YYICHANGCarson City is in the depths of the mountains. It took nine hours to get from the Las Vegas trucks. The road passed through Area 51. It was lonely and lonely all the way. The first time I drove the car to speed, I could run the highest Camry. 110 mph, change to kilometers per hour is about 170 kilometers per hour, and then can no longer speed up, has been stepping on the gas pedal is also the first speed and then speed up, into the Carson City, various mountain roads, really in the mountains, It took almost two hours to enter the mountain. All kinds of corners were caught by the traffic police on the spot and opened a yellow single. The hotel was very close to the Moonlight Bunny Manor, which was very good. The mountain was really cold, and it was air-conditioned for one night.
赵赵When you go to Lake Tahoe, the hotel is economical and the car stops at the door of the room. The little brother at the front desk was very nice. The toilet in our room was leaking. I told the front desk, and someone came to repair it. The hotel is ok.
