Terrible experience in the restaurant. The person at the entrance is extremely rude bordering abusive. We went in as we thought our friends were already there and we were told off and informed that we needed to wait for our turn 'as everyone else' before going in and that we should not have gone inside just because we have a baby. We finally got a table after a long wait in which we had to listen to him treat others the same way (both foreign and local customers). Finally, we were given a table in the sun even after asking for cover as we have a year old baby and there were clearly tables under cover available. Apparently these were not available (they stayed empty the whole time we were there) so we asked whether it was possible to have the shades unfolded to which he said that the wind was too strong and so they won't be able to unfold them yet. After an hour waiting for orders to be taken, my husband went to get our son to sleep walking around inside while we were ordering and the same person proceeded to come up to him and shout in his face asking if he was waiting for a table (he knew we already had one) and woke our son up. We don't expect special treatment just for having a baby but it seemed this person purposely tried to make it difficult for us. If so, he should find another job, his manners are not appropriate to be in a customer-facing role. Regarding the food, the burgers were dry, the service was slow and a friend was given normal milk in her coffee when she asked for oat. Not a big deal but just another indicator of poor service. As a Spaniard, i would not recommend to locals and with an English husband, we would not recommend to tourists.

A superbly comfortable room in a large modern hotel in a central location. The room and bathroom were very spacious and well lit with a comfortable bed and 2 comfortable armchairs. Tea/coffee making facilities are provided along with everything you might need for a comfortable stay in Castellon. An added bonus was the large balcony with views over the city. The hotel is centrally located on a quite street five minutes walk from the plaza mayor with an onsite restaurant/bar and close to a choice of other places to eat. Check in and out was very easy the reception staff were super efficient friendly and welcoming. Disliked · Everything was perfect

Se parece más a un hostel que a un hotel, excepto que no compartes habitación. Para una o dos noches aceptable.
Servicio agradable pero poco eficiente. Agua caliente muy bien. El uso de un código para entrar es práctico. Puedes usar cocina, lavadora, frigo comunitario.
El baño estaba fuera de la habitación; no se especificaba en la reserva (reserva de habitación ”standard”). La TV no funcionaba. La habitación tenía un olor no muy agradable. Se escuchaba mucho al resto de personas alojadas por la mañana. La habitación no contaba ni siquiera con una percha para colgar la toalla a excepción del armario. Es necesario pagar un extra para que limpien la habitación (creo que 6€). La tapa del asiento del wc no se corresponde con la medida del wc, lo que no es muy higiénico... Las lámparas no tienen interruptor, hay que enchufarlas y desenchufarlas para encender y apagar.

very good place. close to the city center, nice lobby and good breakfast. Reception service is great, the madam helped us to lock the window by key, as we feel uncomfortable if the window can be openedfrom outside. The gentlemen is very helpful, he helped us to communicate and translate for us, I surprise to.know that many people in Spain can't speak any English.

El hotel está muy nuevo, las camas muy cómodas y la habitación amplia. Muy muy cerca del centro. El personal muy atento. Tienen una máquina de café gratis en la cafetería para que la utilicen los clientes cuando quieran, además de café, chocolate, infusión, etc. El parking es amplio pero se puede aparcar sin dificultad un par de manzanas más abajo y si no hay suerte en la calle Fernando el Católico mucho aparcamiento y está a cinco minutos andando.

Amazing food! Definitely enjoy the delicious breakfast! Beautiful location. The rooms were super clean and the view (even not seaside) was wonderful. The staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. The beach is walking distance, and there are also two pools if you don’t like sand. Hoping to come back again soon!

We are very impressed by the beauty of this discreet jewel of the Mediterranean, the old city has a light and a charisma that reminds you of Dalt Vila in Ibiza, in this hotel we have found the balance between comfort and proximity to points of interest, quality of its facilities and the treatment received have far exceeded the stars assigned to them by category

Wonderful buffet breakfast. Very fast laundry service. 2 min walk to the city tram that takes you into town/ beach for 1.05 euro. Lots of bars and restaurants close by, we found a great Tapas bar called Tasca Dairo about a 7 minute walk away. You can cancel your daily room cleaning and get money off from bar / restaurant purchases. Would stay here again.

娄娄All aspects of the four-star hotels in Spain are already good. But to remind friends behind, this hotel will treat a single room of 10 square meters as a double room of 18 square meters for you. JJonathanG1578Had the pleasure of staying here after attending a football game. Beautiful area: quiet, comfortable and immersed both in nature and the local community. Historical surroundings too despite the small population. The owner Jose was an absolute gentleman, facilitated a late check-in and couldn’t do enough to make my stay as comfortable as possible.. Well worth checking out and good value for money. I will definitely return for a longer stay as soon as possible, Kind regards, Jon (Ireland)

Very beautiful hotel and service minded staff! Plenty to choose from in the breakfast buffet. Spacious rooms with minibar in the room as well as AC and safe at no extra cost. The hotel is also very centrally located but not too noisy to get out if you come by car. There is a garage under the hotel, parking cannot be booked in advance. The reception opens the garage when you drive down. I wouldnt recommend a SUV going down this garage since it is very tight between floor 1 and 2. It is also important to be patient because there can be misunderstandings between cars going into the garage and out of the garage. The cars that are going out of the garage have a green light 2 floors down when it is ok for them to drive. The cars that are going down have no light they can look at or the ability to see cars coming up so misunderstandings can happen....especially if you come from different countries. So remember to be humble and it will work out if a situation arises where one car is going into the garage and another car is going out. I think it's quite rare that it happens but still good to be aware of it.

Everything was better than expected, JAVIER attended to us from the first moment and was a host of 10, so much so that we will repeat in a few months hahaha, it is advisable to go without children to be able to enjoy and Javier recommends several things to do for your partner It is very worth it, it is a very nice surprise, the menu is spectacular, the eggs, bravas, octopus, ribs, etc. hahaha everything is great

We were there the night of March 19 and everything was perfect. The hotel is small and very cozy, we felt at home. The room was clean and spacious, we were able to sleep 4 people in a triple room without any space problems. All renovated and very comfortable. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant, the food was delicious and the staff very friendly. The perfect location, you follow the street straight to the end and you arrive at the port promenade. The very quiet area, a stone's throw from Castellón city. Without a doubt, if we return to the area, we will stay at the same hotel again.

SSteve JWe booked this hotel for 7 days partly to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We enjoyed an upgrade to suite which was great. we booked through ******* and advised that this was the last room for our week. Reception very good and we needed it as twice our room door lock failed but attended to promptly. Although advised that it appeared the hotel was full on our first night dinner there were about 10 persons. however, the following morning we found that the was a huge host of young Canadian footballers and their coaches, family etc staying which we did not expect staying in a 4-star hotel and their manners were not good. Moving on to the restaurant which on your web site ‘offering an à la carte service’ which it clearly does not and the food although previous guests have said was good for us it was bland and with no imagination, spaghetti/pizza/lasagna/ chicken dippers are not what we expect from this type of establishment, perhaps it was because of the footballers. More importantly when there was some sort of party one night we sat and watched superb tapas going past us to the party so if this type of food is available why not for everybody.? Please remember we were paying some €54 for dinner each night and never got our monies worth. Again, from the web site ‘you can find a café, giving you the perfect excuse to grab a moment for a coffee, a soft drink or a snack’ – this was a very poorly attended BAR not a café and from what appeared to be a small staffing situation, if you wanted a drink or coffee quite often no one about???? Ther pool – no shallow end!!!!!???? The depths are marked but need redoing show a minimum depth 1.8m, this is not good for poor swimmers. In fact, my wife was surprised when I told her this so decided to enter the small pool via the steps which she slipped on badly and has bad bruises for the trouble. This area should have a handrail as in all the other hotels we have visited. This was reported to reception, but they did not seem to want to know. If we had known that the hotel was going to full of teenagers, we would have gone elsewhere One final point, if you make pool rules then they should be adhered to but these were Continually broken. the facilities mentioned on ******* and *********** are incorrect.

This hotel surprise me. The price is cheap for the location (for me it doesn't matter, we used only in the middle of a long drive), the cleanness is perfect, the breakfast for only 5 eur and ALL YOU CAN EAT with many things is PERFECT. The people was amazing and the room a little bit small, but for only one night is perfect. The TV is on a desk pointing to nowhere, you need to turn the tv, and the shower could be a problem, because the water goes out, not curtain or glass, but I am not going to clean it. If you are traveling with a car it could be a problem, for us was a quite difficult to find a parking place close to the hotel.
