It's quite old hotel but acceptable, with a very tiny lift causing you to wait in the peak hours.

I arrived early and they allowed me to check-in my room 2 hours earlier. It's a kind gesture that helped me a lot. It's located 5 minutes walk away from the city center where the banks and big shops are located.

the location is great but is not good for people who drive non-Teala EV, three chargers are all Tesla only,I have to charge my car in Tesco. room is large but the sound-proofing is terrible, I can hear next room every clear.

I wentvto have an evening meal . Just one person eating a burger. I ordered fish and cips. 25 mins later not arrived. Asked the bar how long would it be. I was told 10 to 15 mins. I asked for my money and i recieved it. Very disappointed after a long day at work i had to wait so long for a very simple meal to cook. Asked to see the menu and was given a card from behind the bar.

The property was in a central location close to the train station, bars and restaurants. The decor was a little tired but the bathroom and room were clean. The staff helpful when we need an extra blanket and shower gel. Our room was serviced both days we were there with clean towels. It was a little noisy, not sure the window double glazing worked that well. My only main criticism was people were smoking in the rooms and the hallway outside our room stank of cigarettes. I should have complained but I didn't.We would stay again

Stayed here a few years ago due to its central location - it’s right in the town centre and has is own car park (£9 per night fee). sadly the place is getting a bit on the tired side now. Staff were friendly enough if a little inexperienced (IMO), but the building and the rooms could definitely do with a good clean and some decorating. Net curtains in our room were torn, walls were marked and so was the carpet. The other room we booked had food stains on the walls and the ceiling!! Furniture had graffiti carved into it, We also ended up on a floor with an all male ‘party’ group, that were very noisy one of the inebriated guest knocked on our door before falling over in hall, not the hotel’s fault but if this is the type of clientele that are the usual guests I wouldn’t recommend staying here as a family break, also a large pile of empty take away food and beer packaging was left outside their door and was there for too long in my opinion. In summary Great location Friendly staff Needs updating

Not a great stay. The rooms was very old and worn. The carpets were all pulled and very saggy. Definitely a hazard. Also where very dirty in places. Curtains had holes. Alarms going off because of smokers in rooms and very loud neighbours at 3am.

Wasn’t the happiest for what I paid. When we got to our first room, it had make up on the curtains, the curtain door was off the hook and the main light was not working so it was really dark in the room. We got our second room and the toilet flush wasn’t working (we tried to fix it ourselves as we didn’t want to complain again, although we did let them know when we were leaving) the couch in the room the material was hanging off the seat. Was really unhappy with how much I paid. The only positive I can say is that the bed was very comfy and the staff were very kind.

Staff are really friendly, the rooms seem to be a bit hit and miss with cleanliness, and condition. Some rooms seem to be refurbished where some need some tlc. Rooms are a bit dark with a few of the lights failing to work, so was struggling for decent light in the room when it gets dark, but for the price the hotel itself was decent with great location. Even had church service banging out the tunes in the morning if you feel like repenting your sins

Great location for what we wanted, in the middle of Swansea. The hotel looks like it used to be really nice, but they're now just doing enough to keep it ticking over. Room was OK. Bit tired (underlay under the carpet has either broken down or been removed, couldn't turn all the lights on as one of the transformers was making a worrying buzzing noise), but clean enough, it didn't cost the earth, the staff were friendly and we were only there for 1 night. Previous reviews I read from around Nov '23 said 1 of the 2 lifts wasn't working. This is still the case. For what it was, I think we overpaid at £100 a night. However, breakfast was another story. Save your money and go to McDonald's. Overcooked bacon, very cheap tasting sausages, hash browns and beans had clearly been sitting there for ages, no scrabbled egg, 1 fried egg and when asked for more was told that someone had just gone to the shops to get more, and the mushrooms tasted odd. The fresh fruit selection was 4 apples that appeared well past their best. The pastry selection was 6 mini pastries, that didn't get replenished the whole time we were there (my party took 4 of the 6). The cheese selection was packets of these that were 1 step up from cheese strings. Coffee machines weren't working, with the hot water they had there running out and not topped up. This was by far the worst breakfast I've ever had in a hotel.
