The Manor House Hotel and Golf Club

Absolutely out of this world hotel. Everything perfect . From the staff to the perfect old fashioned service . Not a fault in sight . The full cooked English breakfast came out and we’re not hot , Luke warm . Only other hiccup was our husbands wanted beans with their breakfast we had to ask twice and by the time they came the breakfast was finished. Apart from that simply superb .

The Manor House is just fabulous - and in a stunning setting. The staff were all attentive and friendly. We stayed in one of the mews cottages, which was lovely. Comfortable and spacious and it was nice to walk through the grounds to the hotel to sit by one of the open fires. The taster menu in the Byford was simply amazing! All in all a wonderful mini break and a real treat.

“The hotel was spectacular. The rooms large, beautifully decorated, and the beds and pillows very comfortable. Being fortunate to travel often to many wonderful locations, this one has to be at the top of our list. Everything about it was spectacular and it is amazing when you receive such over the top service and how that affects your experience. Everyone was wonderful and extremely accommodating. Alex and Piero in the lounge were exceptional and anything you asked for or needed no matter what time, was possible. And they were very friendly and so fun to be around. Enjoyed our evenings in the lounge very much. If you visit, don’t forget to ask Daniel, who is in the breakfast area to sing a little tune for you or watch him sing along with the music. He was very happy and it just set our morning in a good mood. The grounds of The Manor house are breathtaking as is the village attached. I highly, highly recommend this property. We will be back! The moment we drove into the Village, it was beautiful. We thought it could not get any better until we saw the Hotel. Stunning. The whole experience of the stay was brilliant. The staff were friendly, helpful, almost like an extended family. Every aspect of the stay was faultless, the Bybrook and Castle Inn were an absolute pleasure. We have booked two new dates, cant wait.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning setting, extremely attentive staff. The standard of accommodation is excellent and the hotel has a charm that takes you back to quintessential England . The grounds are beautiful and lots of lovely walks. The food in the Manor restaurant was of a very high standard and over looked by the lovely Amy and her team who catered for our every need. The Time Bar is an excellent place to unwind by the fire with the very knowledgeable Alex and Piero behind the bar who can make any cocktail you desire. All in all a fabulous place to stay.
