Great hotel, great staff, great location directly on the sea. They probably have one of the best breakfasts you could find in Italy.
The only sore point is the restaurant. It's excellent but the portions leave something to be desired (and those who go to the south want to eat well and abundantly).
In general I can only give an extremely positive rating to the structure and recommend this choice to everyone.

Contrary to description the Sauna is not for free, there is a fee of 20e which is a lot for Calabria. I complained to the staff to not avail. There is no free bottle of water in the room on arrival which is very peculiar for a four stars hotel. The water glasses were dirty. Bathroom was not as clean as it shall be but overall ok. The climatisation had to be turned off at night because it is too loud, it even woke me up when it restarted in the middle of the night. The rooms are not sound proof I could even heard when they trashed glasses at dawn. The room I was in had not a nice view as it was looking on backyard. I can't tell about breakfast as I had not taken it.

È la seconda volta che con mio marito soggiorniamo in questo hotel, in entrambe le occasioni ci siamo trovati benissimo. Le stanze sono ampie, pulite e dotate di tutti i comfort, quella assegnata a noi affacciava sul lungomare. Il personale si è sempre dimostrato gentile e disponibile a venire incontro alle nostre richieste. Buona la colazione, soltanto un pochino ripetitiva, avrei preferito più varietà. Lo consiglio sicuramente!

Ci siamo stati 7 anni fa e ne siamo rimasti incantati. Oggi, pur avendo mantenuto un alto standard, abbiamo notato qualche piccola differenza. Ciò che non è cambiato è la qualità del servizio: i ragazzi della colazione sono davvero eccezionali e fanno la differenza. Ottimo l'oscuramento della stanza. Essendoci stati 9 giorni suggeriamo una maggiore varietà a colazione che comunque ha il plus di offrire valide alternative senza glutine e senza lattosio ( con proposta di 3 tipi di latte vegetale come avena, mandorla o soia). Comunque rimane un' ottima soluzione a Catanzaro Lido.

Ho soggiornato 1 notte in una camera classic, forse un po' piccolina ma abbastanza confortevole. Abbiamo trovato anche le ciabattine di cortesia. Topper sul materasso. Pareti tinteggiate di recente. Gradevolissimo profumo nei corridoi. Ambiente elegante. Buona anche la colazione. Cornetti vuoti ma con una grande varietà di creme e marmellate con cui poterli farcire a proprio gusto. Io ho apprezzato la crema nocciola con cui ho farcito il cornetto ai cereali. Presenti anche nutella, marmellate per tutti i gusti e crema pasticcera. Buona la scelta delle torte (4 diversi tipi). Io ho assaggiato la torta paradiso ed era ottima. Buona anche la scelta del salato, uova e pancetta cotte bene. Se devo trovare qualche difetto, avrei gradito una maggiore attenzione nella pulizia del bagno. Inoltre nella mia stanza c'era solo una piccola finestra. Servirebbero anche spiegazioni immediate sul funzionamento del telecomando tv (anche se noi abbiamo risolto subito con una telefonata alla reception). Abbiamo cenato presso il loro ristorante (l'Olimpo). La scelta del menù è limitata ma i piatti sono ottimi. Noi abbiamo preso il pesce spada con datterini, patate e petali di cipolla e ci è piaciuto molto. Prezzo € 18. Ottimi i dessert. Anche qui poca scelta ma buoni sia in gusto che qualità (prezzo € 7). Da provare il tiramisù al lampone. Personale sempre cortese e disponibile, sia in hotel che al ristorante. Nel complesso un'esperienza positiva e da ripetere volentieri.

Ecco perché la Calabria non decollera' mai. La signora Monica della reception ci dice che l'albergo è convenzionato con il lido poco lontano. Andiamo al lido pensando di avere uno sconto sui lettini e sull'ombrellone invece non era vero. Praticamente c'hanno fatto fessi per tre giorni. Solo dopo abbiamo scoperto che avremmo dovuto pagare la metà di quanto abbiamo pagato. Non è per i soldi, è proprio l'idea di essere presi in giro che dà fastidio. La colazione da evitare. Con tutte le cose buone che hanno in Calabria come le mitiche brioches o le granite ecc... c'era tutta roba industriale , dalle torte finte ai cornetti surgelati , ai succhi di frutta plasticosi alle marmellate commerciali. Niente . Bocciato.

Good location. Clean, modern, minuscule room. Cheap construction, falling apart (towel rack fell off the wall). Shower doors leak and flood entire bathroom floor. Staff minimally proficient in English - not enough to handle the simplest requests.
