Hotels near Amvjak Sari Sari Store, Cebu

Checked in at 5:40 PM, I booked for queen-sized but it’s not available they said booking isn’t guaranteed. So if you want to get the room that you want, check in on time. We settled in a 2 single-bed room for a night (Room 922) and requested to be transferred on queen sized bed the next day (Room 613) which took awhile btw, if you have errands transferring of rooms is a hassle. Anyway, room 922 was noisy at night as it is facing the port area which is in operation 24/7. TV was ok at first but later on it didn’t work, signal interruption. When entering the room, I always check the sheets first for stains and bedbugs. No bugs but the bedsheets had stains, I don’t know how they did their laundry but they aren’t doing a good job removing the dirt. When we were transferred to 613 the sheets were heavily stained, I requested it to be changed good thing they changed it right away. Bathroom tissue was low quality, bring your own if you’re very particular with tissues. Breakfast was mediocre. Wifi was spotty. AC unit worked well. Staff were courteous and location was good, just across SM Cebu/ North Bus Terminal. Will I come back? For location and just one night stay maybe yes. For other reasons, no.

All on expected level except one but pretty critical for me issue - air conditioning system is covered in mold. It have had severe implications for me - I’m allergic to mold and have got severe allergies just few hours after arrival while I couldn’t figure out what caused it. Room felt very moist and smelly, so I was hoping turning on air conditioning will fix a problem in a couple of hours, but it get significantly worst. I’ve got another room assigned after I have identified reason (photo attached); alternative room was having less issues (not obviously smelly), but air conditioning system was covered in mold as well. Also pool was on maintenance, what was not announced while I was booking… traveling with kid, I’d have booked another hotel if I had this info.

Stayed in Citi Park for 4 nights for a business trip. We had a very comfortable stay. 😊♥️ Staff are courteous, warm and helpful. Room (good for 2) is spacious, clean and well lighted. Strong wifi connection (most of the time). Accessible and is near to food establishments and convenience stores. The cable service for the TV is not working, but we didn’t mind it that much since most of the time we just stay there to rest. 😅😊 Thank you for a superb stay! 😊

Before, we just used to passed by Sarrosa International Hotel and Residential Suites, little did we know that the best and very commendable venue for any events is the latter. When we were planning about our wedding, we didn't include to get a venue for the celebration knowing it'd be very costly but we also considered the fact that wedding only happens once in our lives so we decided to start looking for a place as our wedding reception. We had lots of venues in our minds and even inquired about the rates, rooms and such but they're not as responsive as the admin of Sarrosa International Hotel's Facebook page. Though we already had one in mind which is somewhere in Mandaue, unfortunately, their rate has changed so we decided to push through Sarrosa since they both offer affordable rates and great services at the same time. Right then, we knew we were talking to the right person who has unmatched customer service for she's very nice and kind and she addressed our inquiries and concerns very promptly. We are very grateful to this person since the beginning. To you, Ma'am Charilyn Janier , you have no idea how beyond thankful and lucky we are to have met an amazing and kind person like you. You've never left us and you were so patient and considerate even during the times when we asked for changes. We have no idea what great we've done to have been assisted by someone great; you. Thanks sooooo much for each and everything, ma'am and even on the day of our event, my husband and I have no regrets deciding to have lights to add up to the beauty of the venue. It was the best day of our lives to have experienced such thing at the most amazing venue we've ever been to in our entire existence. 🥺❤️🥰 It's not only the venue and set-up that amazed us, but also the food being served during meal time. Delicious? Nah, it's more than just that. The waiters and staff were so nice and accommodated everyone. They had initiatives to serve all the guests and it's one of the things that I am proud about. We have chosen the right people and place for the biggest and the most special day of our lives. Everything was super super super worth it and we'll always and forever recommend Sarrosa International Hotel & Residential Suites. All the guests have said how much they loved and enjoyed the ambiance of the place as well as the food. Thanks sooooo much for everything, ma'am Charilyn, staff, waiters and Sarrosa International Hotel. We truly appreciate everything. If we were to rate everything, we'll give 101%. The hotel is old but it still has a lot of value for its price especially if you are on a limited budget. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to my request like ironing equipment. The location of the hotel is also its advantage since it is very accessible and taxis are plenty at any time of the day.

Oh, oh, oh! You have to stay at Eastland Hotel and Residences 'cause it's like the bestest place ever, like EVER! 🏨💫 It's like a magical castle where grown-ups get to have so much fun and kids can play all day long! The beds there are like big fluffy clouds, and you can jump on them like a bouncy trampoline! Wheee! 🛏️🤸 And guess what? The food is like a yummy rainbow of ice cream and pizza and candy! You can eat it all day, every day, and never get a tummy ache! 🍕🍦🍭 And the swimming pool! Oh my goodness, it's like a huge water park with super-duper slides that go whoosh, and splash, and you'll be like a water superhero! 🏊🦸♂️💦 Even the people there are super-duper nice, like friendly teddy bears who give you big warm hugs all the time! 🧸🤗 They'll make you smile and laugh so much that your cheeks will get all tickly! 😄 So, you see, Eastland Hotel and Residences is like a magical, funny, and cozy wonderland where dreams come true, and you'll never want to leave! It's the most must-est stay in the whole wide world! 🌍🏰💖

This time of my stay with them can give 5 star as they might hear my last complain about the kettle for a hot water to make early coffee. This time yes they have it with a 2 bottle of water drinking water plus a pitcher to pitch a cold water on the water despenser on the hallway. Management might have change. The room I request a bigger bed as I'm alone the girl in the front desk find and had my request granted without hasitation it was amazing how they'd been train to become a better costumer service. Very comfy bed soft pillows and had a heavy blanket that you can really sleep well like a baby. had a heavy block out curtain that cannot even hear any noise outside. Had a big tv with enough channel to watch, I always use this hotel every time I travel to cebu often if I catch a available room. Close to port area and accessible to downtown and to SM mall, beside they have Robinson mall on the same building. The food is superb with a good selection of coffee beans, mix with korean, filipino and american breakfast its excellent even the staff had been in deferent attitude this time starting from the security guard to the waiter every one is very polite, every one is very helpful like the quality of 5 star international hotel around the world, I can recommend this hotel for comfort, security and cleanliness.

I must start with the most incredible aspect of our experience, which far exceeded expectations. We accidentally left over $1,000 USD in our hotel room safe when we checked out. We didn’t realize this until after we had arrived on Boracay. I didn’t expect to ever see that money again. Certainly, in the US, there’s no chance in hell I’m ever getting that money back. Nevertheless, when I called the Holiday Inn Cebu City, the staff seemed genuinely committed to finding the money and somehow getting it back to me. Once they found it, they called me back immediately and confirmed the amount in the safe. Then, for the better part of two days, the staff visited various Western Union offices in Cebu City to find someone that would exchange the notes into pesos, which they could then send to me via Western Union in the US. They finally found someone who could send all but $300 because those were the older $100 bills that most foreign money changers won’t touch. Oh well, I was more than excited to get most of my money back. I was quite happy to leave the remaining $300 as a tip for their super service. Then, after a couple more weeks, they contacted me and let me know they were able to convert the remaining $300 to pesos. Keep in mind that this is a country where the wage rate is significantly lower than the US and this was a material amount of money. The staff at the Holiday Inn Cebu City was so honest and so committed to excellent customer service that they went out of their way to get the rest of the money to me. This in itself made me a life time, loyal customer of this hotel. Now, beyond this particular amazing experience, the hotel is the perfect spot for tourists. The rooms are impeccably clean and modern, the breakfast buffet was the best we had in Asia, and the swimming pool had a great view and was well appointed. The location is perfect for tourists because lots of places are walking distance, like the Ayala Center. Hands down a memorable stay for a world traveler who’s been to every continent. I highly recommend this property!!

I would give it a 3/5 for my 3 nights stay! The rooms were clean and quiet. It is away from the loud music or noise from elsewhere. The rooms are new as well. It is cheap so you get what you've paid for. Staffs at the Front Desk can be a little more welcoming to be honest. They will just look at you when you pass by the Reception especially during the afternoon time shift girl and guy and the 2 guys in the Morning are the coldest person ever. I think that what is lacking! They find it hard to greet you even a hi or hello! They should learn from the staffs in the 3 star Hotels in Bohol or Palawan. Despite their Hotel is not new they even out the experience with a sincere and welcoming smile. Could have also been better if they provide a minibar or a water kettle to have some coffee or something. If you are on a budget and no issues with unwelcoming staffs in the Hotel, This Hotel is recommended!

Out experience at The Noble Cebu Hotel has exceeded our spectations.... The swimming pool is quite large to enjoy but sadly only 4.5feet deep is the highest...hope they have 6feet deep to dive for explorer people likee. The rooms are equipped by security card system keys... automatic power off if no people inside... The gym is bigger than other hotels...we enjoy it! The parking spaces are spacious at 2nd to 7th levels. The ambiance of the ground level is blended by nature with greeneries to breath in along with the wide pool... The rooms at higher level are breathtaking always since u can see the city view like u are a bird. The best part was really in the rooftop...seldom a hotel has this amenities in Cebu...only the Noble Cebu Hotel can give a 360 degrees view of the entire metro Cebu cities...like u are almost in the sky! To do ur selfies and groupies.... The sad parts only are; 1. only 1 access road going in and out to the hotel...u can access by car or motorcycle if u are coming from banilad cebu city. 2. The foods in the hotel resto are expected to be higher prices since No neighboring restaurants in this hotel...u must bring ur own food at ur desired budget at affordable food markets nearby.. 3. They let u deposit a cash bond for check out insurance of their hotel...first time in my experience! But Overall our experience in this hotel is SULIT for its price...than other leading hotels in Cebu! Thank you Noble Cebu Hotel! Sa uulitin....
