The Island Front Resort is highly recommended if you are planning on staying in the Oslob area and/or are planning on seeing the whale sharks there. The Island Front Resort rooms are pretty basic, but very clean and located right on the water. It was definitely a very nice treat to eat dinner and breakfast facing the clear blue ocean and Sumilon Island, which is another tourist attraction. The staff are very friendly and helpful. As a matter of fact, if you plan on going to see the whale sharks, the staff will arrange transportation for you (at a very fair price) and even fast track you on the boat line with a complimentary guide, which will save you time and eliminate some confusion when you get there. The food (both the dinner and complimentary breakfast) was very good and priced very reasonably. I was hoping for just a clean basic room to sleep in (which I did get), but the good and fairly priced food and being fast tracked on the whale shark line were definitely nice surprise bonuses!! 😊

Granada is a special place to stay. The owners are on the grounds and personally assisting with the guests and things around the resort. Food menus are set for every other day, which is unique. The food is delicious! A mix between local and foreign cuisine. They’re accommodating with minor changes to each meal if you request it. They also asked if we wanted our Mel served in our room, which is very cool also! Adults only, so it is a quiet place. Pool is 24 hours. Check out time can be flexible if requested and the room isn’t booked for your check out day. This is a great place for couples who want a quiet and relaxing place to stay. It’s nearby Oslob, the place to see whale sharks. If taking a bus from Cebu city, the trip is about 3.5-4 hours depending on traffic. The beach is relaxing with very natural sand composition and the sand isn’t connected to the water, it’s above it. Bring water shoes as the water is natural with coral. Great for snorkeling! At night we found a giant hermit crab on the beach! First time to see one so big!

The resort is great! Its staff are helpful. We took public transport from the airport and we had no much trouble going to the resort. We stayed in a pool villa and every cent is worth it. I just wish they could provide more drinking water in the room. The allocation is only 2 water bottles (330ml) per day, which is not enough given that you have to hydrate after spending time at the beach. The staff offered to refill our water bottles, which we do not have considering we came all the way from the airport.

Seabreeze Argao offers a great quality of service. For a 3 star hotel, they manage to exceed our expectations. It is great to know that they will be offering foods that guests can order this 2025. I would recommend this especially to those who's looking for a break from the city.

Bummer experience. They have this atrocious policy of charging guests for ice if you want it brought to your room. Their resto is not near, and the fact that they provide shuttle service for the route speaks for the distance. And our room is on the third floor! Charge is just Php50 and easily affordable but its the policy of making guests suffer for the distance between the rooms and their resto that is galling. If quality customer service is primary to them, they should even go out of their way to make up for the inconvenience of guests caused by the distance between the rooms and their facilities. Worse, nobody told us about the charge. I could just have bought stuff at the convenience store when we went out for dinner but Reception specifically told us that ice is available, and no charge. Doesn't speak well of a place which is supposedly top notch in this area 😠

We enjoyed our stay and diving at Turtle Bay Dive Resort very much. Although it was fully booked during our stay, we didn’t feel crowded, and no services were compromised. All the staff were helpful and friendly. For example, Dennis, the instructor, happened to guide all of our dives, and the manager took care of details before we even asked. It's worth paying extra to get away from the noise and crowds. The ocean view, fresh air, tranquility, good services, and convenience of diving made our trip much more remarkable. We've been diving in the Philippines for over a decade in several spots. It's our second time in Moalboal. Turtle Bay Dive Resort and Moalboal are at the top of our list. Thank you!

At a first glance hotel was pleasant, decorated nicely & clean. However no hot water on the first day we asked for someone to check it whom he said it’s broken, maintenance will be in tomorrow to fix it. 4 days later still nobody has fixed the shower and we’re still having cold showers. Room hasn’t been cleaned in that time either although stated it would be every other, no clean towels, no toilet roll, no water to drink (even if paid for) Tours are extremely expensive through this hotel so advise to to research elsewhere for cheaper options. Building works going on which blew dust into the room and covering our clothes/bags & bed. Screaming little kids with no respect for other guests outside the bedroom window at 6am after politely asking them to move along and be quieter they stayed and continued to shout. Buffet breakfast is gone unless you get there before start time (7am) and limited food allowed - don’t eat the pancakes either couldn’t be rawer if the chef tried. Wifi non existent on 3rd floor, Only positive is the pillows were comfy.

I loved how warm and their staff is. It's the perfect resort for a mix of rest, relaxation and adventure altogether. They have a game room. Perfect for barkadas or for siblings or colleagues who checks in at the resort. I was greeted with warms smiles when I arrived. Check-in process was smooth. Check-out process is a bit long though. The room I stayed in is their Tour room. It was clean. I loved my bed and pillows. Aircon, hot and cold shower, TV were working. I like that there are many outlets inside the room and that I could get refillable water at the lobby. My room has a terrace but the view of this particular room wasn't nice but it's okay. They have toiletries and towels. The only missing though is conditioner. Soap is too small over a day's use. Shower area doesn't have a cover so water splashes onto the outside tiles. During my return, I stayed in their villa room, there was no light outside the door so it was challenging to open at night. Villa room is nice too - it has bigger TV, a purifier and a small ref, which I didn't have in their Tour room. Bathroom needs provision for hanging towel near the shower area. No space to put our other toiletries. There was only a space for soap, so we had to put it on the tiles on the side. Regarding amenities, we like that the pool temperature is warm. However, the pool ladder is loose, which can be scary to use. I like that we can use their snorkeling equipment for free and the clear kayak boat is free too for 15 minutes. There's no beach front, as in sand on the beach for you to stay at. Just stairs directly to the water. Our comment regarding the restaurant, the spaghetti was soaky, wonton soup was bland and no fish options on the menu. But some of their food are okay. I hope instead of instant coffee, I can have the option to choose drip coffee or have more decent options in coffee (I was sad about it, as someone who's particular with her coffee). Hope they will have espresso-based coffee or at least brewed coffee available instead of just instant coffee. Internet connection is okay, it might not be quite fast enough for video meetings. I was advised DITO and Globe signal are good in the resort. But maybe it was only just inside my room. I haven't checked the internet speed outside. There's live band after/during dinner time. The group who sang on our stay on the 29th wasn't so good but the one weekend prior was great. During my return, they prepared a small welcome back surprise for me. I felt so special. I really appreciated it. You can also request for them to prepare a small surprise for couples (ie., anniversary). The staff remembers returning guest too! I was also surprised to receive a returning guest voucher (free 1 whole pizza and a pitcher of iced tea - can only be claimed within my stay). The sunset in Pescadores is beautiful too! Excellent structure, spacious, new and well-kept rooms, comfortable and clean with air conditioning and private bathroom. Rooms with TV, hot and cold water. Free water dispenser available to guests. nice staff and available. Restaurant/bar on site where you can also make breakfast. Structure located in Moalboal in a very active area where the bars are open until late night. Perfect location. Near restaurants, bars, beach of Panagsama. The coral barrier and sardines are located just in front of the structure. Diving school. Great for those who love snorkeling and diving. Open reception not 24 hours on 24. They accept payment with credit card. Free Wi-Fi connection available throughout the facility. At request, they organize transfers with private cars with driver and excursions. Basdaku beach also called White beach a few km away. Available with tuk tuk. It is recommended for those who are looking for a building in the centre of Moalboal with a diving school, but also for those who want to relax on the beach of Panagsama.
