It was fine. Kind of dingy and depressing. Probably not worth the price I paid. Probably wouldn’t be my first choice next time I visit the area.

The room was very noisy making it difficult to sleep. Ear plugs helped but I could still hear the noise. when I badly needed to sleep. On the other side of the ledger, the staff was very nice and the breakfast was okay,

This seems to be a v new hotel which is nice. Despite other reviews I read, my room did have both a small microwave & a refrigerator (no freezer). The location is right off I-380 but is v quiet; however, close food options are limited. Accessing the hotel is confusing as you have to go past the hotel to a roundabout then drive back to the entrance. The room doors are heavy which helps make the room quieter & they are dampened also which cuts down on the horrid slamming door noise most hotels have, a pet peeve of mine so I was happy to find this feature. My bathroom exhaust fan wasn't working & the toilet didn't flush well but o/w, it was a nice room. A snowstorm hit overnight & which prob delayed the arrival of the regular morning desk clerk who was rushing in as I left. In any case, I have yet to receive the promised email of my receipt so I'll have to chase that down. I would stay there again.

BEFORE I BOOKED I CALLED THE HOTEL IN CEDAR RAPIDS AND CONFIRMED THAT THEY WOULD PICK ME UP AT THE CEDAR RAPIDS AIRPORT. THEY SAID NO PROBLEM. BUT ON THE DAY OF ARRIVAL THEY SAID THEY NEVER RECEIVED A REQUEST FOR PICKUP. THEN THEY BILLED ME FOR THE PICKUP. AT NO TIME WAS THERE ANY MENTION OF A FEE FOR PICKUP. THEY , AT LEAST, REFUNDED ME FOR THE pickup charge.
