Mostly a run down part of town. All properties on this side of town are the cheaper option. Just the nature of the beast. Everting was very kind and polite. Outside (the grounds are neglected.) needs attention but no different than the other property’s in the area. Just the residence inn next door is out of place because it is neeer and well cared for.

Three day stay and not once did room service come exchange towelettes. Was a weekend stay and didnt start serving breakfast tell 7am when we need to leave at 7am. Key cards would only work one time and then have to go get another room card each day. I will nvr be staying here again

Its not the safest neighborhood. But the place itself is decent. It was clean. Breakfast was okay. I have had better but also worse. Overall not a terrible place to stay.

Furniture is beaten up a bit but it clean, the internet was fast, staff was excellent and I didn’t get robbed. That’s about all you can hope for in Cedar Rapids.

One of the beds in the room had blood stains on the bedspread. I had to go to the front desk twice to get my key re-activated because when I came back, it wouldn't open my door. The channel buttons on the TV remote wouldn't work (neither the up and down buttons or the number buttons). The hotel wasn't overly expensive, but it was more expensive than it should have been for this kind of stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and functioned well.

Brenda was @ Front desk as we came in late (after 10:00 pm) She was VERY friendly and helpful. Will stay here again as a result.
