My girlfriend and I stayed here while attending the festival Ljubljana masterclasses for student musicians! We stayed here for 7 nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful, the rooms were spotless, and the other amenities were greatly appreciated. I have never stayed in a place like this with shared bathrooms before but found that it was never a problem. The bathrooms were always clean and stocked and I never found myself waiting too long for anything. Coming from the United States I must say that I really appreciated the air conditioning as well. It was always nice to return to a cool and dry room after a warm afternoon walk. I can't say enough good things about Atik Rooms and definitely plan on staying here again the next time I return to Ljubljana.

We just stayed there for one night but the location was great to explore Ljubljana. Beds inside the room were extreme good for an hotel.Reception&service were really friendly. I defeinetly can recommend this place. Only small negative point. Parking lot beside the hotel with 25 Euro per day is not so cheap.

I stayed in one of the pod rooms that was extremely comfortable and cozy. The price for these style rooms was also extremely affordable. The hotel was in a perfect location in Ljubljana, wedged in between the town centre and bus and train stations. The hotel also had a beautiful terrace area with surround views of the mountains and city. My only inconvenience I experienced was that the WiFi was down for the first two days which wasn’t a big issue for me but was for the handful of people that were there to work also.

The hotel is pretty nice, though I’m not sure I’d choose the interior design colors. Room was clean when I first got it. Bathroom door wasn’t closing properly. Lots of TV channels to choose from. The walls are thin- you hear a lot of corridor noise. In general I had good time in spite of a very unpleasant incident with the receptionists (they apologized later). I wouldn’t pay extra for a castle view room as I did this time. It’s really not too impressive as you can see yourselves in the picture. Breakfast was good. Reasonable variety and fresh. Location is good. They started a pilot where they only clean your room upon request. I love the plan but! When I did ask to clean it, my mouth washing glass wasn’t changed and the room wasn’t as clean as when I first got it. I’m quite specific person and my standards are high but I do recommend this hotel in spite of the deficiencies. It’s not much to improve and I hope it will. If you’re sensitive to noise, it might not be suitable for you.

Although this hotel was a little out of town, we didn’t find this a problem We caught a taxi (6euros)into the city and walked back It was perfect for driving to our day trips to. We were looking for for an affordable place not too far from the highway and the city center. Nestled in a safe residential neighborhood, this small family run business is exactly what we needed. Very friendly staff, great breakfast and service. Small parking places, gated for 5 cars. Some good recommendations nearby (walking distance) for restaurants as we couldn't eat within the premises, the F&B staff was on holiday!

It was the best accommodation I've been to in Europe. It's very clean, the staff are so friendly, and it's just the best. If I come to Ljubljana again, I'll definitely stay here. Even though it was the cheapest semi-basement floor, it was so clean and nice that I was happy while staying here..

We stayed here for our first visit to Slovenia and this place was very impressive overall. The staff were really friendly and helpful - we were given a map of the city and information about the buses on arrival which was very useful to get us started on our trip. The room was very comfortable, the bed was roomy and the mattress was the perfect firmness. The bathroom was nice and modern and the shower was very powerful. The aircon was a bit weak and could do with upgrading, but we weren't too hot while we were staying there. The bar area was very nice to chill and have some drinks and the service was always prompt. We hadn't realised prior to booking that the hotel did not serve evening meals, but this was not too much of an issue as we ordered take out using the Wolt app and went out for meals in the city. The breakfast selection was outstanding and we really enjoyed the mini pastries and the fresh coffee. There is also a Lidl right next to the hotel which was very handy for snacks and toiletries if needed. The bus into the city was just outside the hotel and was very cheap (just €1.30 into the city centre) and only took around 15 minutues. It was a great way to see the area and they ran every 20 mins or so. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to others. A big thank you to all of the hotel staff who made us feel very welcome and made our trip very smooth.

AAlexei KNew and modern hotel. Ideally located - within walking distance from both train stations and the central part of the city. There are several good restaurants nearby.
What I liked:
1 . Very friendly and helpful staff
2. Spacious room with a great view
3. Comfortable bed and accessories
4 . Delicious and varied breakfast
What I didn't like:
1 . From time to time a cracking sound is heard in the ventilation system. The repairman came twice, but found no problems. However, it really ruined my sleep.
2. The gym has very poor equipment and poor ventilation. You must breathe the smell of rubber from the floor.

GGuest UserGreat hotel - it’s a shame that the staff let it down.
Prior to our arrival, we contacted the hotel to let them know that we would be arriving after check-in had closed (at 10pm). They were very helpful and provided us with instructions to enter the property by ourselves using an app.
When we arrived, we managed to get into the lobby (using the app), but the room key we were given was different than the one we were told on the phone and email. As a result, we were unable to enter our assigned room.
Assuming that our room number had been changed, we tried the key in the door that matched the new number (as there were no staff or guests around, and no one was answering the phone or emails). It opened and revealed a couple, asleep, inside. Obviously, we were mortified that we had disturbed the hotel guests, and also terrified that we would have to sleep in the hotel lobby until check-in opened at 6am.
After about an hour of searching around the lobby for clues about who to contact, we knocked on some private doors. Thankfully, a man came out and used a master key to let us in. It was clear that we had woken him up (by this point it was 2am). Again, we were sorry to have done so, but were left with no choice.
After we had successfully entered our room, I sent an email to the front desk letting them know what had just happened and that we would like them to apologise (on our behalf) to the guests and staff we woke up. They never replied. In fact, every time we mentioned it, the staff member made excuses like “I wasn’t there so I don’t have anything to do with it” and “the guy who organised the late check-in was training so he made a mistake”. There was absolutely nothing in the way of an apology or compensation for the mix-up until we checked out and it was already too late. We would like the hotel to know that mistakes are bound to happen, so it is imperative that they have a back-up (emergency number or night staff) for guests who have been given the wrong room key.
In addition, since we had been travelling for a while, we were running out of clothes and needed to do a load of laundry. We followed the instructions for the housekeeping staff to collect our laundry but found that when we had returned to the hotel, the laundry had not been done and the room had not been made up. When we went downstairs to inform the staff of this, we were told “housekeeping doesn’t go back to rooms to clean them after you took off the do not disturb sign, I’ve worked in lots of hotels and this is always the policy”. This member of staff eventually helped us find an laundromat, but the contempt with which we were spoken to was unacceptable and uncaring of the fact that we, too, have plenty of experience in the hotel industry as customers. An apology would have sufficed.
Overall, it was a great hotel in a fantastic location. Just make sure you’re okay with passive aggressive communication before you book.

JJonas OWe had a pleasant stay at ZOIS Apartments and enjoyed it very well. We stayed one night longer than expected to experience more of the beautiful city. The rooms were pretty tidy. We were happy to find a refrigerator and a kettle in both rooms we stayed in. The location is very close to main spots in Ljubljana and almost everything is within walking distance. Good to know: There is no elevator and there is a busy street close to the apartement. For parking the cheapest way is to park your car along the river 5 min south of the apartments (0.50€/hour from 07-19). All in all we had a good time in Ljubljana and we can recommend the ZOIS Apartments for a short trip to Ljubljana.

GGuest UserI loved Galeria Rooms! Close to everything, with charm and a ”homey” feel, just like they stated. Clara was very helpful and friendly, and suggested some fantastic restaurants. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. As advertised, there isn't a person at the front desk at all times, so if you need support 24/7, this might not be the place for you. I was totally fine with that, however. Staff was readily available by text or phone, and they were pleasant and unobtrusive. I definitely recommend Galeria Rooms if you're visiting Ljubljana!

MMike CaliforniaThe room is good, clean and quite, no air-condition though, hence late afternoon warmth is an issue. Although it cools down at night during mid-May season.
Bathroom has a tub, however it's narrow with curtain on the edge, hence it's hard to turn around when in shower. Breakfast is great. For one night stay, overall it's good place to stay.

MmasupeThe Hostel has different accommodation options so I would like to point out that the following opinion is about ”Mixed 10-bed bed in a mixed room” which is the space we know. The location of the Hostel is perfect in the centre of Ljubljana, just a few meters from the Dragons Bridge and other charming areas. The hotel has a wide range of rooms and a wide range of rooms, and a wide range of rooms and a wide range of rooms is available. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable and was very comfortable.
