Free parking lot out front.
Very well preserved historical elements but great air conditioning and clean.
Service was hit or miss as there is no dedicated desk position.
Lots of noise from adjoining room due to thin door with large gap beneath.
Would stay again.

Choose here and i doubt youll regret the choice. Bar and restaurant downstairs and food snd drinks both can be brought up to your room. For small towns in Iowa very frw have an original hotel built over 100 years ago is still standing and suprisingly nice.
Service from restaurant can be great or sloe depending on whos working.

We enjoyed our stay at The Continental Hotel. We booked the 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom unit. It was newly renovated and very clean. Also very quiet. The staff was friendly and the prices were right. We did not have an opportunity to dine at Lucille's restaurant within the hotel, but it looked very nice. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Nice linens, clean. Quiet. They could make the grab and go continental breakfast a little more hospitable. Ice is from bar. They keep a very minimal staff and don't serve food on Sunday. Bar does not stay open late. I believe they would be accessible by phone. Town square dying, so plan meals out carefully and proactively. It is an attractive place. No housekeeping but you can request new towels each day. On another stay they had really nice pastries. I am not sure what happened to that. Really pretty bar and tiled floors. Town square has loud drivers Friday and Saturday night, but does not go all night.
