Antica Torre is an idyllic place to stay. From the superbly comfortable Bancospina room. I had stunning views from the windows of mossy tiled roofs, green Tuscan hills dotted with cypress trees, patches of olive trees, and rustic Italian farmhouses. The table set in front of a window was a lovely place to get some work done. Although I was unwell for a few days, it was hardly a hardship. Sascia was amazingly thoughtful, bringing me a laden breakfast tray each morning, my favourite double-shot cappucinos, and making sure I had everything I needed.

Oltre al posto incantevole, il B&B è gestito in modo altamente professionale, e con attenzione nei confronti degli ospiti. (per esempio abbassatasi improvvisamente la temperatura la sera ci ha fatto trovare una coperta in più sul letto. Ottima colazione e perfezione nelle istruzioni per il raggiungimento del B&B all'arrivo. Da 10 e lode.

Alloggio unico per godere a pieno della bellezza di Certaldo alto! Noi abbiamo soggiornato nella camera Biancospino, con vista spettacolare sulle colline del parco della canonica.. si respira un’atmosfera speciale e rilassante! Camera pulita alla perfezione, intima e accogliente, con tutto il necessario è arredata con cura. Colazione ottima con prodotti a buffet ed altri su ordinazione. Sascia è una persona eccezionale, disponibile, premurosa e veramente solare! Ci ha omaggiato di un pacchetto di cantucci deliziosi per il nostro rientro a casa. Per noi un’esperienza meravigliosa! Torneremo ancora da lei all’antica torre del borgo!

Abbiamo recentemente soggiornato presso questa struttura. Accoglienza professionale ma familiare; camera pulitissima con tutti i confort; colazione squisita; location storica indimenticabile. La consigliamo vivamente a chi vuole visitare la Toscana fuori dai soliti circuiti.

Siamo andati due notti proprio in questi giorni. Soggiorno fantastico, camere impeccabili molto curate dove tutto era al proprio posto con una pulizia eccellente. Ottima la colazione. E che dire della proprietaria Sascia. Una persona davvero gentile, sempre disponibile a dare consigli e molto attenta a tutto. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti. Vi troverete benissimo. Noi ci torneremo sicuramente, anche perchè abbiamo già prenotatoooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ho pernottato due notti con la mia famiglia, dal 28 al 30 dicembre. La struttura è eccellente, esternamente è accanto al Palazzo del Podestà e ha mantenuto la sua storicità, all'interno è una struttura completamente rinnovata con gusto ed eleganza, con tutte le comodità. La Signora Sciascia è disponibile per soddisfare al meglio gli ospiti; il suo garbo e gentilezza sono veramente apprezzabili.

When I happened across Antica Torre del Borgo's website, the idea of staying in a medieval tower was too tempting to resist ! Our hostess and also the owner Sascia ,responded promptly to my email . It was a pleasure to meet the lovely Sascia who was waiting for us when we arrived in a taxi from Siena. She made sure all the details were taken care off for the taxi to be allowed in the village to drop us off at the door. Sascia made us feel welcome immediately, and she went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were comfortable and happy during our entire 3 day stay Having the chance to stay in a medieval tower was so special, and our choice of the Zafferano ( Saffron ) Comfort & Triple Room was perfect !Large windows with great views,spacious with every modern amenity we could need , and a shower with remarkable water pressure ! It was obvious that Sascia had been very thoughtful in planning the renovations. A delicous and bountiful buffet breakfast was set up in a cozy room conveniently across from the Zafferano room. There were sweet and savory choices, fresh fruit , juices, and the largest cornettos we have ever seen. The cappuccino and espresso Sascia made for us were perfect. We definitely felt spoiled with such a relaxing start to each day. We enjoyed the restaurants that were literally next door, across the street or a short 2 minute easy walk. Certaldo Alto is a quiet village known especially because the famous writer Giovanni Boccaccio was born here, Casa di Boccaccio. Palazzo Pretorio, the Museum of Sacred Art, and the Augustinian Convent with the Church of Santi Jacopo and Filippo are all very close to Antica Torre del Borgo. We sre so glad we had the opportunity to meet Sascia and to stay at Antica Torre del Borgo. We highly recommend Antica Torre del Borgo , and we are confident that Sascia will take excellent care of you ! Grazie mille, Peggy & George

Ho dormito una notte in questo B&B del borgo di Certaldo alto. Che dire...delizioso!...Gli interni sono veramente arredati con gusto e curati nei particolari. Alle camere e agli spazi comuni è stato dato un leggero tocco di modernità ma ben ponderato e il risultato finale è un'armonizzazione assolutamente riuscita, tra il nuovo e la tradizione del tipico stile rustico toscano. Camera confortevole con una vista magnifica e un delizioso salottino annesso che, non solo riempie gli occhi, ma rende il soggiorno più piacevole. La colazione è semplice ma di qualità, con torte e marmellate fatte in casa, cornetti di pasticceria e bevande calde espresse. All'arrivo nelle stanze è presente un menù con il quale comunicare alla proprietaria cosa gli ospiti vogliono trovare per la colazione la mattina successiva(compreso il salato per chi lo desidera). In una struttura come questa con poche camere, un sistema del genere permette di garantire prodotti freschi e genuini, di ridurre gli sprechi e di accontentare le esigenze di tutti. Un plauso inoltre alla gentilezza e alla disponibilità della proprietaria. 5 pallini assolutamente meritati!!!
