The view from the room and the open dinning area was spectacular, room was clean and presentable, and the service was excellent. Everything about the stay was great except the noise from a party that was being held at the hotel by a group kept me up till midnight and sploit my sleep. Maybe sound proofing needs to improve. Overall, it was good enough for me to stay again in future.

I went there with my family and the stay was so good it was my 2nd visit . The food , ambience , view is so satisfying all the services are up to the mark and Ms Sangeeta who is incharge of this hotel she is so good , she knows very well how to deal with customers.. Thank you Ms Sangeeta for making our stay so comfortable♥️♥️

I had booked a family suite for stay with my parents and wife at the hotel. Had a horrible experience and decided to leave the hotel within half an hour of arrival. The rooms were dirty and the ***agement had not bothered to make the most basic necessary arrangements before arrival of the guests. I, thereafter, asked the caretaker to have the bathrooms cleaned, linen changed, replace dirty crockery in the room and have the dish TV charged amongst other things. The response however was very poor and I had to call the person 3-4 times to get him moving. Seeing the poor state of affairs at the hotel, I called up the owner, Mr Kapil, who to my surprise, was as disinterested as his staff and instead replied ”Sir, yaahan to aisa hi hai, agar aapko theek nahin laga to aap kahin aur dekh lijiye”. I was surprised at the most unprofessional behaviour of the entire ***agement of the Hotel and decided to leave immediately. I asked for refund of the amt I had paid, which took forever and a No of calls to finally fructify (They had charged Rs 7400 for the room!). Finally, when I was leaving the hotel, the staff didn't bother to apologize or even help us with the luggage! At 7 pm, I went looking around for an alternate place to stay which I luckily found at Village In Resort. I am posting a few photographs for all to see and would not recommend anyone to stay at Hotel Emerald Valley.

Chail is a sleepy little hamlet and Vue Magique Resort is the icing on top! If you love to holiday at a destination in the hills where there is little to no mobile network and you have nothing to do except gazing at the vast spread of hills; reading a book with a cup of coffee/tea by your side; then Chail is the place to be. And vue magique resort is recommended as it has all the facilities which would make your holiday memorable. To begin with they have ample parking space. Then, Mr. Monu Sharma, the front desk manager is always eager to help you and is prompt with answers to your queries. The food they served at breakfast and dinner was non-spicy; so you don’t have to worry about having an upset stomach after your stay. They are pretty generous with the portions they serve. We had high tea with pakoras and cookies; and the portions were enough for 4 people. We stayed for 3 nights during the Independence Day weekend and We enjoyed our stay. They have a pool table, Table tennis, foose ball, cricket, badminton, wall climbing, Burma bridge, swings for kids. It rains at the property anytime and you are greeted by clouds and mist! We checked in room 208 and it had the best view possible! The tariffs are also reasonable. This resort is rated as a three star property; but that may be due to absence of swimming pool, gym, spa, bar; but who needs these facilities when you are in heaven of Himachal! P.S: The resort is around 5 kms. Ahead of Chail at Janedghat.
