A serene getaway in North Bengal. I have no words to explain. One can only experience by visiting the place, enjoythe lovely moments, the serenity and the calmness. The food, stay and awesome behaviour will make an urge to revisit.

Sinclairs Retreat Dooars (Chalsa) is a beautiful, sprawling property perched on a hilltop, making it the perfect gateway to experience the lush greenery of the Dooars region. The cottage-style rooms are incredibly spacious, clean, and feature private balconies that open up to gorgeous garden views. It is an amazing place to unwind, take a dip in the massive outdoor pool, or just enjoy a quiet nature walk. What truly elevates the experience is the exceptional hospitality from the team. Riya, Albert, Sukumar, and Rituparna went completely out of their way to make the stay comfortable. Their warm behavior, prompt service, and helpful attitude make you feel right at home from the moment you check in. Highly recommended if you are looking to escape the city noise and relax in the lap of nature!

Our room was exceptionally clean, well-ventilated, and thoughtfully designed. The private balcony was a massive highlight, offering a front-row seat to the lush greenery and local flora. The bedding was plush, the bathroom was spotless, and the overall layout offered a perfect sense of privacy. It felt like a cozy, upscale sanctuary right in the middle of the Dooars jungle. The staff at Sinclairs are the property's biggest asset. From a seamless check-in to the attentive dining staff, everyone we encountered was warm and genuinely eager to help. The restaurant serves an incredible variety of multi-cuisine dishes. Breakfast was a massive, fresh spread with plenty of options to fuel up for a long day of sightseeing. Everything we ordered for dinner was flavorful, beautifully presented, and made with fresh ingredients. The amenities are top-notch and beautifully maintained. The outdoor swimming pool is incredibly clean and offers gorgeous views while you swim. For leisure, the cycling paths, children's play area, and indoor recreation options mean you never run out of things to do, even if you spend the whole day inside the resort. A special shout-out must go to their sustainability initiatives. It was incredibly refreshing to see the resort actively using eco-friendly water filtration methods and moving away from single-use plastic bottles. It's rare to see a luxury property walk the talk when it comes to conservation. Whether you are traveling as a couple looking for peace, a family with energetic kids, or a nature enthusiast, Sinclairs Retreat Dooars delivers on every front. The value for money is exceptional given the scale of the property and the quality of service. We left with beautiful memories and will definitely be returning!

Always a great experience to be here. Especially , Sonia at the reception was very humble and courteous. Needless to say that the restaurant staffs were very polite and helpful. And last but not the least, the chef is too good and was very helpful in taking care of the food habits of our girl child.
