A serene escape with outstanding hospitality: zostel banikhet offers serene views, exceptional hospitality from owner rohan and staff amit, and a clean, well-maintained property. Perfect for a peaceful, memorable stay in the heart of himachal pradesh.

Zostel at banikhet:
the property is located in a very serene location untouched by the commercialisation. They have a swimming pool, cafe, jhoola, and lots of reading corners and seating arrangements. There are good books stacked for bookworms. I absolutely loved staying here and it’s my first solo trip as a woman and meeting fellow solo travellers here made me open up more into enjoying solitude. The host roshan is very helpful and friendly and suggested places to visit in and around dalhousie.

I recently had the misfortune of staying at zostel banikhet, and i must say it was a complete letdown. The location is one of the biggest drawbacks - it's a whopping 6km away from the town, making it difficult to access nearby attractions. The nearest place to visit is mall road in dalhousie, which is still a significant distance away. The isolation of the hostel makes it feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. To make matters worse, i booked private room and it was not upto mark of zostel you can get way better option in this price range. In the common area there was no vibe even on weekend during my stay, which was extremely off-putting. The pool, which was one of the reasons i booked this hostel, was dirty and unusable. But views are great but still not worthy. Overall, i would not recommend zostel banikhet to anyone. The lack of location, poor maintenance, and uncleanliness make it one of the worst hostels i've stayed in. There are far better options available in dalhousie.

zostel banikhet is a home away from home. the tranquility of the mountains, the clouds, and the breathtaking views will make you fall in love with this place. what makes it even more special are the beautiful people who make your stay unforgettable. rohan, amit bhaiya, praveen bhaiya, and the chef go above and beyond to ensure your stay is not just comfortable but truly heartwarming and safe. if you find yourself in dalhousie, do visit zostel banikhet to experience the magic it has to offer. ❤️❤️

Would have rated 5 stars but the dormitory was too hot. Rest all good. Views offered by property were very good. The common area was too lively. Property was beautiful and looked too good. Nothing much to do around and banikhet to Dalhousie cab would cost you ₹250-300 one way. But we were on a staycation, so this wasn’t much of a problem. There are some public transport options however not abundant.

The washroom are not in a good position they need to improve this, the hygiene in the washroom is a concern.
