Response from Property: Thank you for having first started by saying that the hotel was a success because that is above all what you should judge, the hotel and its comfort. Seems to me from Europe, where you seem to be from, you have no idea what we've been through for 2.5 years. In Europe, your governments supported you during the health crisis, which allowed you to maintain a very significant purchasing power and which allows you to travel today. We had no help and no support. The borders closed and we were left to face ourselves alone with a non-existent local purchasing power (unfortunately we do not live in a harmonious world where purchasing power is identical from one area to another: maybe some countries have siphoned off the poorest countries too much...). We held on as long as possible (we opened the hotel just before the pandemic). We have never made the slightest profit because everything has gone into the payment of salaries in order to support our teams. We destroyed our heritage in order to preserve our hotel and the people who work there. Unfortunately after a year we had to close while guaranteeing 25% salary to all our employees. We re-opened 2 months ago without a penny and had to go into debt to start our reconstruction. So yes I agree everything is not perfect yet and it will take a little more time for you to have a 5 star service at the price of a 2 star in Europe. You can't say it's too expensive until you have an idea of ​​our debts, our fill rate etc. We imagined, foolishly, that the first travelers would be benevolent and understanding, but this is not always the case. Isn't travel the opportunity to meet a country and understand how it works?
