I booked a room in this hotel for 13th Feb-14 Feb 21...I checked in at about 9 pm since i had come for some business related works. Its very sad to write that this hotel being with 3-star rating offers such pathetic services which look very flashy in pics. I was greeted with non operational Telephone, Study light at bedside & TV, Cracked cup, no sleepers, washbasin with funny setting for hot water, no door in shower area, leaking faucet and a extremely mucky like Kettle...the door knob of bathroom is like of 1940's...the shower glasses were dirty as if not cleaned from past 8-10 months..the Cloth hook behind door of bathroom rotates in 360 degrees......i felt that these guys arent serious in maintaining rooms . The bed and the quilt was stinking as if its not changed since ages. The staff needed to be told to give two water bottles for two people, refill tea sachets and sugar....I was in room No. 113....There was some party going on in ground floor that night and the smell of drinks was coming till first floor.....i had never seen room like this in last 8-9 years of my stay in hotels in all over India.....To book this hotel is wastage of money is wht i felt....the very basics of staff is not clear ....

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. This would be a 3-star hotel but it's amazing staff makes it a 5-star hotel especially Kamal Singh Chauhal at the front desk who really went Above and Beyond to help my husband and I with our local travel plans. Kamal is a great asset to this hotel. The restaurant, event and housekeeping staff are also efficient, professional and courteous. The hotel itself could use some renovations as some areas of our room and hallway looked a little weary. With this staff and a few upgrades, Amara Hotel has real potential to be a top-notch hotel.

Room was neat and clean. Spacious. Washrooms were clean and nice. Warm water was available. Fresh towels and linens were there too. A couple of mirrors were dirty, like they had maroon paint on it. And one issue i faced was the door lock, their door lock won’t open easily, had to swipe in the card multiple times and this one time i had to call up the staff late night for that so that was bit inconvenient for me. The pricing was bit too high though, if it’d have been little less then it’d be perfect. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
