Great location! About 2-3 mins walk from Wuyi Square Metro exit 7. There are plenty of restaurants, malls, and in close walking proximity to the famous locations including the store that sells those oversized snacks. The hotel offers breakfast which is 6.5/10. The reception is on the 7th floor and I got a room on the 14th floor, fairly large and comfortable. There were a few things that could use repair and deep cleaning but was okay for the price and considering the location. Overall, recommend and would stay there if I ever visit Changsha again.

It was my first time staying in a youth hostel. I booked a 10-person female dormitory, and the experience was unexpected. The sanitary conditions were very good, and the room and sheets had no odor, which was better than many express hotels and B&Bs. The mattress was also soft, larger than the bunk bed in the school dormitory, and I felt more at ease sleeping. The service attitude of the staff was also very good, thumbs up! There are bound to be snoring in a multi-person room, but the earplugs sent by the front desk were also very useful, allowing me to sleep safely until 10 o'clock the next day.
The shortcomings are: the room has no windows and it is still a bit stuffy in spring, and the ceiling of the public toilet is moldy, which is recommended for improvement!
Overall, it is recommended for young people to stay here👍👍👍

A solid stay in the city center of Changsha. It's just clean and comfortable hostel. Beds are a little bit hard (fine for me). Shower rooms are clean. City center. Wuyiguangchang even just 5 minuites away. The hostel itself may not have a perfect view from the window. But on the stairs you could see ifs, and, again, 5 minuites and you are there are.
Food around are a little bit expensive, but there are also cheap shops and caffes, you just need to explore area a little bit.
Night walk is perfect. Transport too.

Although the room furniture is slightly dated, it is conveniently located next to i-City mall and serves as a centralised location to explore Changsha. Opt for the daily breakfast and you will not be disappointed. Most of the local food can be found at the buffet and the view on the 43rd floor is magnificent.
The only downside was the strong smell of cigarettes that permeated the air in the room.
Remember to bring your own swimming cap if u intend to utilise the indoor swimming pool, otherwise u will not be allowed to enter the pool. Swimming caps retail at 40CNY a piece, so BYOC (Bring Your Own Cap)!

the place is a littl hard to find because it's hiding at the back of a building, and they don't have a signage in the front of the building. Please call to ask for directions before leaving for your trip, or else you'll have to ask people around there (we had asked a few shop owners in the front of the building and they said they don't know where is the place, not sure if they really don't know or being unhelpful). However, besides that, everything is quite good, really nice owner, the place is clean as well.

Very characteristic homestay, sleep very comfortable, the hotel is very convenient to go to Yuelu Mountain at Yuelu Shandong Gate, not far from Juzizhoutou, taxis to the surrounding attractions are basically more than ten yuan, a little far from the subway station. There is free afternoon tea and one-way pick-up service (the way to reimburse the taxi fare), the aunt also helps to dry the clothes on the roof of the building, and will hang on the door of the room the next morning. I think it is very clean. Although it is a bit small, it is ok for me alone, and the front desk lady is very good at business. No matter whether the company has been trained, at least she knows that there is a return certificate. Most hotels don't know that Hong Kong people have two documents. At that time, I said that I was a Hong Kong ID card, and then Miss Sister said that the ID card is not good. You can give me the return card. I felt that Miss Sister's business ability was very good. When I checked out, I also chatted with the two young ladies at the front desk. They asked me if I was traveling. I said yes, and it was to watch Chen Li's concert. One young lady said that Chen Li was very good. I searched her and felt very good. She turned to powder 🤣 and another young lady said that she could see Chen Li's program as a mentor. She is very good. 🙈 These two young ladies understand me 😆😆 I will go next time. If you are in Changsha, you must come to this hotel again to live in 😆😆.

CCameo19I stayed for 3 nights over Christmas at the W Hotel and it went above and beyond all expectations! From the sleek, modern design to the impeccably clean facilities.
It felt very festive as windows and tables were adorned with delightful Christmas decorations, the highlight was the lovely pink tree on the first floor, it was super cute!
The entire staff's commitment to ensuring my stay was exceptional deserves high praise. They catered to every need with a level of care and attentiveness that exceeded all expectations. Day 1: Lovely plate of fruit. Day 2: Cute knitted pouch with candy. Day 3: Xmas-plate of fruit and chocolate log.
Plus a big shout out to Eric, who was super attentive and assisted in organising my Christmas Eve afternoon tea and the delicious 5-course Christmas Day meal. (It was pricey at 1288, but included the regular buffet, and a gorgeous red basket with gifts plus an oversized bag! So was worth it.)
The bar/chill out area seems to be the hangout place.
The energetic atmosphere on Christmas Eve was super cool. There was a runway showcasing several models and a cool DJ. It added an exciting vibe to the festivities, making the evening memorable.
Furthermore, the huge swimming pool and changing room facilities felt luxurious, only thing missing was a jacuzzi, although sauna and steam room were great.
Additional info: hotel is connected to the mall, line 2 metro is accessible via the mall which made is super convenient to travel around the city.
Definitely recommend staying here!

Location: Couldn't be more perfect - walking distance from all the areas we wanted to be in, with tonnes of great food and drink options (street food, restaurants etc) right at the doorstep, same with convenience stores and everything else you'd need. The subway is also a very short walk away, as well as several malls.
Room: Room was very good - really well kitted out (including a very good hair dryer which my girlfriend said was worth mentioning), clean, and well decorated. Lots of useful tech / extra touches that elevated the stay. It was slightly on the smaller side, so not a huge amount of storage space for clothes, but this wasn't a problem for our shorter stay. The room includes a projector which has a lot of films included (including in english) which was a nice touch.
Service: The service was amazing! The front desk staff don't speak english but we used our phones to translate, so communication was no problem. Xiao Hao, Pei Pei, and Xiao Mei were great - and we were always met with a smile. There's a concierge service which means you can reach the team on WeChat at any time - and they were incredibly responsive and helpful each time I asked for recommendations or had specific questions.
Facilities: Decent.well decorated, modern communal areas, the breakfast has a good spread (western / chinese), free laundry and dryers. The gym is tiny and quite barren however.

GGuest UserI left in a hurry and forgot to take pictures. The hotel was unexpectedly good. First of all, the service attitude was very good. After parking the car, the concierge Gao Fei carried the box for me. The angel Eve's service attitude was also very good, and she sent me to the elevator. Liang Huan and Zhou Yao at the front desk patiently helped me check in. It was also a good stay. The hotel environment was the same as the photos, clean and very design-oriented. In short, it was a very satisfactory stay. The service was super good and exceeded expectations. The hotel sent welcome fruits and tea in the room. The sound insulation was also very good. I usually sleep lightly, but here I can't hear the sound of the corridor and the next door at all. The location is very good. It is very close to the subway station and very convenient. You can also walk to the May Day Square by walking on the side road. There are many delicious foods. Finally, I like the housekeeper Eve who helped me on the last day. The service attitude is very good and considerate. Like it 👍

You can literally walk to all the main shopping streets nearby for access to shopping and food (eg bakeries, famous fermented bean curd, bubble tea shops, Chinese food chains, many food streets/food courts). Just around the corner there’s also a small quaint alley which is quieter than the main shopping streets, that also has nice local options or coffee shops. The staff was very sweet when I checked in and she offered a room upgrade for me. I also needed their help to book a car because my overseas phone can’t do so on the Didi app, and they helped me with that :) The pickup / drop off location is however not at the hotel itself. It’s across the street right at the traffic light (outside Zegna of IFS). Orange Hotel is directly opposite IFS if you’d like access to higher end shopping. Don’t expect 5 star hotel cleanliness, the room did smell a little musky (someone definitely smoked in there before at some point), but it was livable and the good location trumps it all. There are some lighting options in this room as well that are pretty amusing - props to the hotel for wanting to spice things up. There’s a small ramp to help you roll your luggage up at the lift landing, and if you need anything eg an extra bottle of water, a robot helps to bring it to your room :)

红红月The location is excellent — right in the middle of historic Duzheng Jie. For me, this was the perfect blend of local / touristy. The area is essentially one cobblestone street with some restaurants and shops, plus some hidden ones in the connecting alleys. It’s accessible to other key points of interest and two metro stations (both along Line 1) by foot which is also convenient.
Note: The location probably isn’t suitable for light sleepers however. There is a live house directly downstairs and the hotel is small, so it can be a bit noisy. On my final night, someone set off multiple rounds of firecrackers all through the night which led to smoke billowing up to my balcony. This is not the hotels fault, but just something to note for future guests. It might be an infrequent weekend occurrence due to the upcoming Spring Festival.
The room was fine for me. Large, comfortable bed. Spacious balcony. Many free movies available on the TV.
Note: The rooms are only cleaned upon prior request.
Except for the exact moment that I checked in, and probably only because there was a family checking in then too, I never saw any staff downstairs. They can be reached through the hotel’s WeChat, but don’t expect any warm good mornings, how is your stay, etc. when exiting or returning each day.

The entrance to the subway station is just downstairs, so you can travel however you want, very convenient.

SSOPHIA CHOU WEIWe stayed only 1 night and hotel was chosen due to location in the Airport. Hote is located 3mins wlk to T1. We arrived at the Hunaghua Int'l Airport T2 and you can call the hotel to arange for pick up which is bonus. The hotel also send us to the meglev station the next day. Overall it is oerfect for those who want to stay near the hotel. Room is clean too. Note: checking in was a bit challenging as we arrived at mid night and only 1 person mend the reception. we were half way doing check in when a group of China local tourist came in and they dont't wait don't queue - many of them just shoved you aside and push their ID card over to the staff for check in.
