The external environment of the hotel is relatively poor, which can't be helped by geographical factors. When you walk in the door, it feels okay, relatively clean and bright. There are fields outside the room window and you can see the sunset. It's also quieter at night. Although the breakfast is not much, the Chinese dim sum is delicious. Rice rolls, siu mai, barbecued pork buns, and pumpkin pancakes are all delicious. The only difference is that the rice noodles need to be cooked by the guests themselves, which is the first time I have encountered this. Fortunately, I can cook. Guests who can't cook won't be able to eat.

The flight was constantly rescheduled, and I had to stay near the airport early in the morning, so I chose this hotel. It was really nice, the room was big and clean, the service was friendly, there was breakfast, and there was airport drop-off service. The breakfast noodles were especially delicious! We came half a day early and visited the archway street, watched the light show, and ate at a very good pickled food shop, which was really delicious and not expensive.

The hotel is located right at the airport. After checking in, you can report your flight number and get a free airport shuttle. It takes only 2 to 3 minutes to drive to the terminal. The facilities in the hotel are very new and clean. Compared with the surrounding inns, hotels, and small hotels, it is already very good. The lighting is good and spacious. The room is also very large. There are many places to eat around. You can order takeout. There is no breakfast and no extra bed. Someone asked, is there a parking lot? Parking is very convenient. The only good thing about this hotel in Chaozhou is that the sanitation and environment are very good. Although I had to wait for more than an hour for the cleaning service when I checked in, the hotel service attitude was very good. There is also a hot spring pool in the room, which made the children very happy. The bed was also very comfortable, the most comfortable one among the hotels I changed for several nights in a row. If a friend goes to Chaozhou, I will recommend this hotel, and it is also cost-effective.

Amazing stay at Hampton Chaozhou hotel . The front desk girls are the best hostess ever, special to Ms Coan, for the attention and help with translation. Breakfast is delicious and with plenty of choice , western and Chinese food . Gym is enough for daily exercise , and rooms are spacious and spot clean . Locations is very good , with a shopping mall annex to the hotel .

Around 5 mins taxi to the entrance of ancient city, great view, excellent room design, particularly like the bathroom design! Exceptionally comprehensive gym equipment, neat and stylish gym environment. Helpful staff who helped to arrange taxi and recommend restaurant.
Major complaint was cleaning staff entering my room after I left the hotel despite my Do Not Disturb light was on. I was sure it was on because it is my usual practise, and I double-checked it that morning when I left the hotel. And the room service (which I did not expect) was chaotic. Used towels and bath rope were taken without replacement, and unused towels were somehow rearranged. Filled up some disposable utensils but were not tidily placed e.g. the slippers looked like being casually tossed around on the floor.
Instantly realized someone had entered my room when I arrived at my room door that evening as I could see the DND light was turned off. Hotel explained that the cleaning staff was unaware of the DND light. How ridiculous! It was deliberately turned off. Worse, how the hotel tried to keep the hassle low key by offering me free bfast or something was disappointing. I don't think the hotel had geniuely tried to understand how I see it as an intrusion, and how unacceptable that was to me. I did not feel safe when I found out someone entered my room against my will. Probably won't visit Chaozhou again and prefer not to stay with Crowne again.

Chaoyi Minglin Mansion is a courtyard style inn of Chaozhou ancient residential buildings invested and operated by Chaoyi Minglin Mansion Tourism Management Co., Ltd. The original owner was Lin Xichun, the Minister of the Ming Dynasty. The mansion was built by Lin Xichun during his leisurely visit to the forest and has a history of over 400 years. The inn retains the traditional architectural layout of local ancient houses, providing customers with an immersive "museum" living experience. The Minglin Mansion faces west to east and is a three entry courtyard. On both sides of the main gate, there are standing stone drums and blue brick walls, granite, depicting traces of 400 years of wind and rain, exuding a strong historical charm. Chaozhou Gongfu Tea, Chaozhou Woodcarving, Chaozhou Ceramics, Chaozhou Cuisine and other craft and cultural imprints are scattered throughout every corner of the mansion. Absolutely amazing, every little detail. The hotel is charming, beautifully designed and the rooms are spacious, with every convenience of modern living - better than a five star hotel in almost every way.
The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful and have tons of very very good recommendations for restaurants and services. From drivers to rentals to the best things to see. The restaurants we tried on their recommendation were excellent. Far better quality than most on the walking street - I just wish we had more time to try them all - two days was not enough.
The rooms are perfect for two couples or a family, the bathroom has enough privacy, and they have very nice quality amenities. The air conditioners keep the room warm in winter, and the beds are very comfortable. You can also bring back food from outside to eat in the common courtyard.
Would very highly recommend this hotel if you are going to spend time in the old city. One of the best I have stayed at.

JJian Ming ZhaoIi recently had the pleasure of staying at Hans XiHu for a three-day trip, and I am thrilled to say that we made the right choice. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that we were in for a fantastic experience.
First the hotel is small but clean. Our balcony room was well appointed with modern Chinese accents. This addition was a delightful touch and provides a serene space to relax and rewind after a full day of exploring.
The location of the hotel was another highlight. Situated in a busy yet safe area, we found ourselves surrounded by a plethora of restaurants and shops, making it convenient to find dining options and explore the local scene. Additionally, the proximity to a park with a small lake was a delightful surprise. We took advantage of this by enjoying peaceful mornings in the park before embarking on our daily sightseeing activities.
One of the standout features of the hotel was the complimentary laundry service. This amenity was a welcome surprise, and we took full advantage of it by submitting 15 pieces of clothing for laundering. To our delight, the laundry was returned to us on the same day, washed and neatly folded. This level of service exceeded our expectations and made our stay even more convenient.
However, what truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional service provided by the front desk staff. They went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. From providing valuable recommendations for local attractions and restaurants to going the extra mile in making reservations for us, their attentiveness and genuine care made our trip more meaningful and memorable.
Overall, our experience at Hansi Xihu was highly satisfying. The combination of a clean and comfortable environment, a convenient location, surprising amenities like the complimentary laundry service, and the outstanding service from the front desk staff made our stay truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a delightful and personalized experience.

HHeng Yen LinWe spent a total of 3 nights here. This is one of the most satisfactory hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel is so clean and new. The basic facilities are all well equipped. I have stayed in multiple 5 stars hotels and this hotel is definitely comparable to those 5 stars. The location is superb. And the breakfast is so delicious with nicely brewed coffee. The staffs at the lobby are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend my friends to stay in this hotel.

Excellent location. Splendid breakfast. The only thing we are not accustom to is the AI in the room. Toilet seat cover open once you walk in. Curtains open automatically if you accidentally press the wrong button. After all we are very happy and would strongly recommend this hotel.

PPaul. SThe best part of this place is the location, right behind YUY Hotel at the junction of Paifang Street (Taiping Rd) and Xima Road. You can just walk a few minutes to Kaiyuan Temple, Guangji Gate and Guangji Bridge. At 5.30pm, they remove the pontoons in the middle of the bridge and at 8pm, there is a light show. Food is abundantly found in the surrounding streets. Access to this hotel is via the 2 lanes beside YUY Hotel from Paifang street or Xima Road. The boss and his wife communicate in Mandarin, so Google translate will come in handy. Before checking in, you need to inform the inn of the time of arrival so that the boss can meet you. We were given a key card and complete freedom to go in and out anytime. The place is quiet and very clean. It is also quite new. Amenities are good quality, towels and bedding all good. Perfect for an independent traveller. Hosts are friendly and helpful. There is a washing machine and place for drying clothes on the rooftop. If you come from Chaosan train station, take bus K2 and stop at the Central Hospital opposite West Lake and walk to the inn in about 10-15mins. Make sure you have WeChat installed in your phone to communicate with the host.

GGuest UserWe have had a fabulous time since arriving at the hotel. We were received by very friendly and helpful receptionists. The room is very clean and is well stuffed with toiletries, the Aircon is cold to my liking but can be adjusted accordingly. The roof terrace is very scenic, however, the views of the Guangjie Bridge is only in partial view.
The location is superb, walkable to all the top attractions.
The hotel breakfast is at nearby with delicious local dishes. The owner is ever so helpful, her service is above and beyond to cater to my mum.
Lastly but not least, we are overall very happy with the service we received from this hotel and will highly recommend anyone looking to look for a 5 star accomodation.

DDorota1991If you are looking for a quiet hotel in the area well connected to the train station, this is it.
Everyone in the hotel were genuinely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and specious, although if you are a non smoker better inform the hotel to prepare a room without the cigarette smell.
They have Chinese style breakfast. During the weekdays, with only few guest, there weren't much choice, but everything was good. During weekends with more guests there were a lot of options. Only if they have real coffee, not instant...
Hot Springs Area was additionally paid 88 per person, open 14-21. It was a very nice experience, but expect a lot of people during weekends. Unfortunately while inside, you cannot to go to the hotel restaurant to eat something, but you can order waimai.
Overall we had a very pleasant stay and big thanks to the front desk staff for all the support 😊

The weather is so bad that it feels like there is no wind if you want to go out for a walk, and the sun is everywhere! The room is not smelly! There are a lot of little cockroaches! The stainless steel floor drain is very dirty! I dare not take pictures. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the room, but it's not surprising. It is more in the mountains, but the outdoors are not quite like the mountains... The health system is unprofessional... If you really want to make a name, it is recommended to change people
