Have visited several times now and always feel welcome. Cannot fault the service and the facilities -everything makes me feel 'at home'. Staff helpful and efficient, rooms clean and well maintained; food also excellent! What more could one want.

We have just had a 3 night break in this lovely hotel. I was so pleased to discover that they had managed to move our booking to a ground floor room as I am disabled. The staff were all very friendly and willing to help at all times. The food was wonderful and beautifully presented and my husband said the monkfish tail meal was fabulous. There was a nice breakfast in a pleasant room but the toaster was very slow and was a talking point amongst the guests! The hotel was a good base to explore the area and we left feeling very relaxed and will visit again. Well done to everyone.

Beautiful country hotel offering full facilities for a relaxing break. Well presented room which had recently been refurbished. Good choice of food each evening with wine and beer to match. Very helpful staff, nothing too much trouble.

Fantastisch hotel. Nette kamers en mooi restaurant en bar. Heerlijk eten, hoogstaande kwaliteit voor een faire prijs. Maar allerbelangrijkste is de staf. Vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel. Echte vakmensen.

This was our second visit to the Lordleaze. We did have a complaint regarding the room we were allocated. However, this was handled very well by Alfie and the Assistant Manager, Brigit. Our alternative room was clean and had the advantage of a walk in shower, which is useful for me as I suffer from Arthritis. Only one small complaint - the mirror in the bathroom was very high on the wall. As I am only small in height, it was difficult for me to see in it. The breakfast was very good quality. We were not keen at all on the choice of music on the Classic FM station. It was either too rousing or too maudlin.

We have just had a 3 night stay for our Anniversary. The hotel is lovely and clean. The staff are friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We ate there all 3 nights and the food was amazing and breakfast too. Would definitely recommend and we would stay again.
