The best part of this hotel is undoubtedly the staff. Friendly, helpful and good at their roles. We've stayed here occasionally for over 20 years, and the current team is outstanding.

We had a lovely, welcoming, comfortable overnight stay. Everyone was so helpful despite issues with the electrics. Would stay again and recommend the hotel to friends and family. Thank you to all the staff

A fairly unique location but easy enough to find if you follow the brown signs. The room had everything you need and was clean and tidy but was a bit dated (booked just a regular double room). Daily housekeeping was good with the complimentary coffee, tea and biscuits replenished which was a nice touch. The bar area was nice with an open fire and plenty of table room and the food was very good. The staff were warm and welcoming and happy to deal with any requests. I’ll definitely consider staying here again when working in the area!
