Charleston County Hotels with Breakfast

We are Diamond members and selected this hotel because it used the fewest number of points. This hotel is fresh, modern, clean and new. Standard rooms were surprisingly large. No microwave, but did have a refrigerator. We had no issues with nouse from nearby rooms or hallway and slept well both nights in room 427 (did not face the main road). Large lobby with great hangout areas, pool table, board games, snacks/drinks for purchase, included breakfast and coffe/tea available all day. There is a nice, large fitness center with precor treadmills/elliptical that included tv which allowed for several live tv choices and you could even access your Netflix account. Hotel location allowed for easy access to shopping, downtown, Boone Hall Plantation, Shem Creek Park, Palmetto Islands County Park and park under the bridge. We ate dinner at Basil one night (upscale, Thai) and had smoothies, wraps and salads at Tasi Bites and Blends for lunch the next day (about 6 min drive from hotel). Just know most of the soap, bodywash in room has a strong lemon smell, so bring your own if you don't like lemon. Shampoo and condition was supposed to be some sort of beach scent, but reminded me of sunscreen. There is a hair dryer in the room, small desk, upholstered chair, ample storage space and a few hangers available. Overall, a surprisingly great stay. All staff were really friendly and our family felt welcome just hanging out in the lobby to watch a football game, sip our wine and play pool. We needed some time away with all the Covid restrictions and this was perfect. Rooms were well sanitized and very clean... so seemed like housekeeping staff was great too. Our stay at the Hyatt House was very good. The location is conveniently located in a quiet area of MT Pleasant with shops within walking distance. It is also only 10 minutes from historical downtown Charleston. The staff at the hotel from housekeeping, to the breakfast team were all exceptionally friendly and attentive. Dominique and Dani who were on front desk duty were the icing on the cake, as they were very hospitable, and knowledgeable about the Charleston area, always ready to assist us whenever we needed assistance. We are looking forward to staying again, with the hopes of having a wider selection of cable TV channels, and the option to use our Netflix account.(It seemed that BET as well as other channels were scrambled with the cable provider that The Hyatt House uses).

The hotel is very new, you can cook, and the kitchenware is complete. Breakfast during the epidemic is considered very good. There are many supermarkets around. The location is very quiet and suitable for rest, this is highly recommended.

My wife and I have enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn in Mt Pleasant, SC. The facility is clean and everything we used in our suite worked well. The staff at this place are ALL amazing. they are polite and accommodating. Included full American breakfast buffet available every morning was excellent, Kudos to Shirley for such a beautiful, delicious presentation. Cathy at Housekeeping ( others too ) , Ariel and Jennifer on the front desk ( there were other folks whose names I didn’t catch at the front desk ) Julian on the maintenance team , He was always around and always looking to help us if we needed something. There are several other people who I didn’t learn their names, but each and EVERY one of them were friendly and helpful. To say we felt welcomed and cared for would be an understatement. Looking forward to Our next visit already.

Though the hotel itself needed some updating the staff was extremely helpful. I forgot my toiletries bag as well as hair gel. Oliva and Madison at the front desk were able to get me everything I needed quickly. I was in for business meetings so these two saved the day and allowed me to make my meetings on time. They also called into a local restaurant they recommend and were able to secure a reservation for my customers and I on the day of. Everyone enjoyed the recommendation. I will be back thanks to these two and their hospitality. Great location!

The environment of the hotel is very good, the air is fresh and the environment is beautiful. Opposite the room is the harbor where the yachts dock. Going out for dinner is a bit awkward, and there is no problem with driving. However, the hotel has a shuttle bus to and from the city center, so overall it is ok.

We stayed for three days and it was almost perfect: 1. Good location, not far from major attractions; 2. Beautiful environment, adjacent to high-end community, surrounded by small lakes, convenient supermarkets and restaurants; The room is comfortable and clean; 4. Breakfast is very rich and the meal is fast; 5. All services are in place.

I stayed at SprinhHill Suits Mount Pleasant, Charleston for 2 nights (on a weekend. I was surprised when I found when I returned to my room at 10 PM i found out that my room was not cleaned and made up after my first night. When I went to the front desk I was told that the rooms are not made up “ because we have a skeleton crew in the weekend”. I was offered new towels but I had to stay another night in an uncleaned room. I was charged $207 and 215 for a total of $481 for my stay and expected some service. Another upsetting issue was that the hotel operator refused to connect outside callers who tried to contact me because they did not have my hotel room number. This is an unprofessional attitude that prevented people to reach me through my stay. I have never encountered such in appropriate treatment of guests in the hundreds of times I stayed in a Marriott Chain hotel. I expected more from your hotel. Most of the staff were very polite and friendly (especially the woman who served breakfast). The breakfast was minimal with no fruits of desert.
