We have just spent a week at this motel. The new owners ( only been there 12 months) Guy and Maree go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Their approach is that they want everyone to feel like a family member and to come back for another visit. When the motel had quite a few guests staying they put on a meet and greet. I thought that was great. 1st time I have experienced it at a motel. Normally a caravan park thing. Will definitely revisit in about 12 months as they have some wonderful plans and ideas to update the motel and can't wait to see what they have done. As I have said in my other reviews. If something is broken go to reception. Most hotels more than happy to fix it and appreciate being told. Nit finding out in a review

A pleasant stay until an hour and a half after we had departed at which point the owner called and with raised voice falsely accused us of stealing a blanket from one of the two rooms we had booked and charged us $250 quoting hotel policy. We will raise a dispute for this transaction but suspect the owner will get away with the dishonesty. If you stay here, take photos of all of the blankets in your room, including those on beds and in wardrobes before you unload your car and after you leave. That may save you from this scam.

Very clean & well stocked rooms. The managers were very friendly & went out of their way to make sure guests were happy!! $10 breakfast packs were a great way to start the day! Rooms had milk, tea, coffee, biscuits. Butter & assortment of jams, peanut butter & Vegemite!

Very clean and very comfortable accommodation we stayed in the self-contained suite after the very flexible and accommodating owners moved us from a hotel room because we were staying longer than one night and really appreciated having a sink. Short walk into town to restaurants, RSL pub cafes Even though it is on the main road, it is very quiet and was a fantastic stay.

Friendly hosts, clean and tidy rooms in a good location, with everything needed for a short stay. It's a short walk to the main street shops, including the world famous bakery! I would definitely recommend and will stay again if ever travelling in the area again.

Guy and Maree do everything to make your stay comfortable. They even greeted us with very welcome cups of coffee! The rooms are clean and tidy, the beds comfortable and the shower which is fed with treated artesian water is hot, soft and powerful. We arrived via Train from Brisbane and the Motel is literally across the road from the Charleville Train Station.

What a wonderful place to stay. Guy and Maree you are the perfect hosts.. The meet and Greet you put on was fantastic. Let us met our neighbours for the next 4 nights.. having our washing done (Guy you are a machine) and driving us to local events.. just a wonderful experience. The unit was clean and cosy and had all the little touches.. Thanks you two. Hopefully will be back x

This was our second stay within 8 weeks, this time we were in the Motel room (#1), it was very comfortable and clean. Our bed was the best, so comfortable and plenty of linen and extra pillows. This motel is the first one you see as you arrive in Charleville from the Warrego Hwy and right opposite the tourist centre/railway station. We walked to RSL for dinner and it was less than a 10min comfortable walk. We highly recommend this Motel and Gary (owner) was very friendly and helpful nothing was to much to ask for.
