Olga's Fancy

This hotel does not have check in service after 6:00pm, which I have never encountered before. The front desk person was rude, who did us not allow us to stay in the lobby after checking out.

The property is on a quiet hillside - you will need to climb up stairs - to go to your room. it is convenient to restaurants, the ferry and the harbor. the rooms are comfortable - and clean.

This property begins at the parking lot, thrn you must climb 4 irregular flights of stairs to get to the reception area ( perhaps 30 feet up from the parking lot, up a big hill. Then, after I said "this is the least handicap accessible hotel I have ever been to", I was told by the owner, " Well, if you dont like this...your room is up more stairs" and she pointed up the hill, where I could see up, perhaps 30 feet to where there was a two story building that was more flights of stairs. This hotel is unsafe, as the endless steps are not of uniform height and spacing and I shudder to think what would happen if someone got exhausted and stumbled. The owner said, the hotel is 65 years old (as if that fact excused the dangerous conditions). She was very mean to me

What a nice surprise Olga's Fancy was, great staff, beautiful pool and amazing view from our room, we will definitely go back soon!

Wonderful and beautiful!

Wow I was surprised by Olga’s Fancy but it was clean and fun and full of character. We stayed for one night on our way home from a charter. It was affordable and perfect. Loved having morning coffee on the porch.

Very quaint resort on the water with beautiful views. Walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. Would definitely return.
