We traveled to Charlotte for my 17 yr old daughter birthday. The hotel is next door to Southgate Mall. There's plenty of fine dining within walking distance of the hotel & the hotel has a nice restaurant in it as well. Room was spacious & clean. We also enjoyed time at the pool. I would book again for sure.

Look out for sticky fingers from the staff. I stayed at the Hilton Charlotte Executive Park hotel with my husband January 5-8, 2023. I stayed at the hotel to attend a work conference and my husband came along and we stayed an extra 2 nights to have a weekend away. I had a one night reservation for Thursday and a 2 night reservation for Friday-Saturday. When I checked in the front desk person asked if I had 2 reservations and I said yes. She then said ”Okay great, I'll check you in for both”. On Friday morning I was in the meeting room in the hotel attending my conference and my husband came downstairs to take a walk outside. While we were out of the room the housekeeping person went into our room apparently thinking the room was supposed to be cleaned. We had not checked out because we were staying 2 more night and all of our belongings were in the room. They wouldn't even let my husband back in the room even though all of our suitcases, medicines, and bathroom items were in the room. I had to leave my conference and check in again at the front desk. I'm even more upset because I had left my necklace that I'd worn the night before on the dresser/cabinet that is nearest the door and when we came back to the room that necklace was gone. I looked all around on the floor and it was not there. I reported to the front desk and the manager that my necklace was gone after the housekeeping person came in. The manager I spoke with said she would speak with housekeeping and get back to me. I have had no contact from the manager and no follow up. The only logical explanation is that the housekeeping person took the necklace. I am extremely disappointed in the service at this Hilton and will not be staying here again. The manager could have easily found out who had attempted to clean our room but she did not. My necklace was stolen from the staff at this Hilton and that is extremely disheartening.

There must’ve been some reason I chose this hotel after reading all kinds of reviews, and it must’ve been the price because it needs to be refurbished! The chair and ottoman should be given away for free because of all the rips ! If they took that out, the room would be better. The toilet is partway under the bathroom ledge for the sink. So that is very strange! Our TV remote was not functional at all, and our safe was in operable! I had to take all my jewelry and cash with me every time we left the room! On the upside, The cookie was great and the staff was super kind! There’s not a real easy way to get your luggage from your car to the room unless you park by the main entrance and unload. We had asked the clerk to fix the two issues while we were gone all day. When we got home at 4:30, nothing had been done . This hotel does not measure up to the hotel chain I have stayed at in the past! I really did appreciate the peloton in the gym! Paper napkins instead of towels were provided though. I did have a great night sleep, and I really liked the bedding! Pillows were nice and fluffy and there were four on my double beds just for me! Hubby slept great to in the next bed.

First off, it was completely not listed with IHG as being under construction. The lobby is closed, and there is no common area in the lobby, minus the restaurant, which does not open until 5pm. Front desk and staff are extremely kind. That’s the whole reason for the 2 stars. In terms of room - I’m currently sitting here trying to find us a different hotel to move to. First off, we have Platinum Elite status with IHG. I completely understand upgrades are subject to availability, and the hotel is busy this weekend. However, I would have expected to be put into a room that wouldn’t typically go to a Priceline customer. Our view is all of the mechanical roof. But, I have a hard time complaining too much about it, as the windows are so dirty, you can barely see the air ducts and other roof equipment. Out of the faucet, room temperature is the only option. Cold and hot don’t work. I needed a little warm water, so used the Keurig to heat some up and - 🤢. Just gross and dirty. The floor and beds appear clean, but overall, the room is drab and disappointing. Given how filthy some parts are though, we certainly won’t be going barefoot here. Had stayed here years ago for a wedding and it was fine. If I’d known it was being renovated, I would have certainly picked somewhere else. My suggestion - pick a different hotel for your visit to Charlotte! We’re flying down for 3 more games this season, and will definitely be staying elsewhere!

We had to move multiple rooms due to roaches. 4 out of the 5 days we were there we experienced roaches in the rooms and hallway. The final night the whole hotel didn’t have any power. We understand that wasn’t the staffs fault but they were not considerate and did not help improve the situation and made sure we were aware they would not compensate for this in any way. We had to sleep in HOT rooms due to no power and all our food we had purchased spoiled. The hotel was not willing to assist with anything. We were not able to shower after we came back from the beach and some of our party had to pack their items in the dark due to a 6:00 am flight but the hotel was not helpful with assisting them with any flash lights or anything. The next morning we were getting knocks on the door by hotel management saying due to the power outage we had to leave. So we packed up all our stuff (we have an infant with us as well so we had quite a bit of luggage for 5 days) the hotel said we could go to a sister hotel down the street. We load everything up to go to the sister hotel just to be told we would have to double pay to be able to have a place to relax a few hours befor our flight (we also still needed to shower from the beach the day before). I wasn’t going to pay for 2 hotel rooms so we called the double tree to see if they would give us credit/pay for the 2nd hotel since they kicked us out and they tell us the power had just come back on. This whole experience has been the worst vacation I’ve ever had. Even though double tree said we had to leave due to the power outage there were still about 50 cars in the parking lot and nobody else was downstairs leaving, only us. The staff were all sitting around on the couches not even concerned about the guests.
