It was a pleasant stay thanks.

I checked a 3am, I’m tired, just drove 250 miles, the place was 1 mile from the the rehabilitation facility my veteran wife was move to. The room looked filthy, cracked tile in the bathroom, saw a bug crawl into the crack. I’m sleep by 4, on top of the covers, fully clothed. The most memorable moment came 3 hours later by the Charlotte Police, over a bullhorn you heard “So&So this is the police, we have place surrounded, come out with your hands up, you will not be harmed”. I paid $85 for 3 hours, I should have slept in my car. The place is overpriced, the rooms are substandard.

Don't stay here. I was traveling with a group, I communicated with the hotel in advance, yet when we arrived (after 5 p.m.), some of our rooms weren't ready. Since there's no lobby, there was no place to wait but outside, where it was raining. The rooms were in in terrible shape. Cockroaches scurried across the bathroom floor every time I turned on the light. The floor was warped and slats were loose, there were random fixtures sticking out of the bathroom wall (one towel bar end bracket, for example), loose plates in the shower ceiling, a partially unwrapped refrigerator, etc. One of my colleagues was bitten by something while he slept. The doctor thinks it was a spider. I'm surprised that this place is allowed to keep its branding. I guess Choice never inspects their properties.
