Fantastic place to stay. Lovely room at a great price. Also part of a fantastic pub. Fab food and really nice friendly staff. Right on the main road just outside the town. Could not ask for more and would definitely stay again. Stayed as a couple.

Love this place stayed a few times when visiting friends in Shepshed such friendly staff the manager so friendly and can’t do enough for you - the rooms lovely stayed in a superior room well worth it lovely breakfast there was 11 of us had a meal on 27th December birthday celebration beautiful food and service can’t wait to go back !

We were met by the lovely Lisa, who instantly made us feel welcome. The pub itself is really cosy, well stocked well maintained and the food was excellent, every dish we had was top class. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had, amazing quality and attention to detail. The rooms were really comfortable, spotlessly clean and modern. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. Shower was fabulously powerful. We loved the extras luxury touches of wonderful teas and a choice of coffees. In short we cannot wait to return, the whole team are really helpful and proud of the place, as they should be. I didn’t want to leave, considered squatting 😁

This was a gem of a find. Clean and tidy.rooms with all you need. Smart TV, usb socket, posh coffee maker, shower etc and comfy bed. Right next to a pub (the horse) 🐴 which did amazing meals and breakfast. The staff were friendly and the pub was warm and cosy and great to see a local pub full on a Friday night. If your going, pre book a table.

On arrival the member of staff who showed us to the room was a delight Food was amazing. Yes parts of the pub were dated but it sort of added to the ambiance. We pointed out several issues with the room which included very noisy neighbours both next door and above. Cleanliness of certain areas of the room. Dirty spare pillow. Uncomfortable mattress The girl who served us breakfast, who I believe to have been called Kerry was very kind, understanding and professional Sadly not likely to stay again

We stayed here for one night and hope to stay again. The rooms had everything we needed, comfortable beds, TV, iron and board, hairdryer, coffee maker and even a fridge. The restaurant is across the car park and we had a great evening meal and breakfast there, ( breakfast is included in the price, just order it the night before )

We can’t thank you enough for making my parents 60th anniversary so special. They booked all the rooms for our extended family to join them in a meal, the rooms were very comfortable and well appointed and we all had a good night’s sleep. Both the evening meal and breakfast were delicious, the service was fabulous, efficient and friendly. We will definitely stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both the pub and the rooms. Thank you again.

I stayed here overnight en route to a conference and I am so glad I did. What a find! The rooms are in a building at the top of the car park adjacent to the pub (The Horse). Mine was on the ground floor and was immaculate, with underfloor heating. I had arrived around supper time and was informed by the girl who showed me to my room that they could make me a small pizza and bring it across to my room if I didn’t want to come into the pub alone. This was so considerate - and delicious! As was the breakfast the next morning. This is another one I’ll be adding to my black book of perfect places to stay and I will be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room is lovely, clean and well appointed. There is everything you could possibly need in the room, including iron, ironing board and coffee machine. Lovely shower too! Very comfortable mattress, which is a bonus when you suffer with a bad back! Breakfast has to be ordered the night before, which is no issue at all. Great choice on the menu. We opted for the full English, which was great. Couldn't fault the service at all. We would highly recommend a stay here.
