Upon arrival, the front desk experience was disappointing. The staff member ignored multiple greetings, rolled his eyes, and seemed confused about our reservation until we provided the number. His claim of making people feel welcomed contradicted his actions. The room itself was problematic from the start. A strong, unpleasant odor greeted us despite the hotel's no-smoking and pet-free policy. The door had an excessive three locks, and the nearby light flickered constantly. Only one of the five room lights functioned properly. The room's condition was subpar. Drapes were falling off the rod, the flooring showed bubbles from recent remodeling, and water stains marred the ceiling. The sole chair in the room was stained and couldn't fit with the outdated work table. All furniture appeared scratched and unhygienic. The mini-fridge lacked shelves but included a small freezer. Numerous stains on walls and baseboards raised concerns about cleanliness. In the bathroom, the door handle was loose, the light produced a rattling noise, and the towel rack was damaged. The roll-in shower, while modern, had a lopsided chair with possible mold. The shower curtain was stained, and attempts to cover mold with paint were evident. Further issues included a loose toilet paper holder, excessively dirty air vents, a sink without a stopper, and visible dirt and mold around the sink's base. The bed's comfort was acceptable, but concerns about cleanliness led to sleeping fully clothed. Disturbingly, a used bottle of Vaseline was found while adjusting pillows. In summary, this ranks among the worst hotel experiences I've had. As a frequent traveler who stays in various hotels to recommend to clients, I would strongly advise avoiding this establishment at all costs.
