Facilities: There are only more than 200 suites with separate bathrooms in one bedroom and one living room. I didn't expect much. I was too surprised to stay. The facilities are complete and the decoration is very local. The hotel is more like a homestay, it is a small building. Hygienic: very clean Environment: Especially good, just in that blue house. 10 minutes walk from the main square. Service: The service staff is very nice, similar to Airbnb is basically introduced when you check in.

To begin with the staff are really nice, and the location is superb! Just opposite the Kasbah a few meters up a lane, which means a lot in a town so steep and confusing that every meter counts. It also has a nice rooftop with panoramic views. But it could use an upgrade and a lot of cleaning. The aircon was out of order and the window too small to make a difference. There was no hot water, and the water in Chaoen is freezing cold! When we told the guy he suggested we use the common shower. You can get better places to stay for this price, but if a bed with clean sheets and towels is all you’re after, Barcelona is not a bad choice.

We stayed here as part of an Intrepid tour group. Located in the Medina, we walked in from the main road, with our suitcases brought to the hotel by private courier. Otherwise, you’d have to drag your suitcase through the Mattie, hilly Medina streets. Our room was small: room for a very firm queen bed, a bureau and 2 straight backed chairs. Others in our group had much larger rooms. Our small windows faced outside, which meant street noise at night and in the early morning (roosters crowing and call to prayer) but this was fairly minor. Others in our group had windows opening into internal hallways. Cute Moroccan decor. Shower took a long time to warm up. Minor adjustments were needed as it came up to temperature to avoid a scalding. Water pressure was low and varied by water temperature. Good breakfast options: plain omelettes, goat cheese, olives, tomatoes, cucumber (both peeled), Moroccan bread.

Unfortunately this hotel did not live up to expectations. We were in the annex rather than the more attractive looking main hotel. Difficult to find and our luggage had to be carried miles! The place was pokey with no real common area other than the roof terrace. Our room was very small and there was a ridiculously large piece of furniture which had no use whatsoever! Added to that the red drapes over the bed - why?! The room was very noisy with cat’s and dogs fighting outside and men spitting - yuk! Also, there was a really unpleasant odour - cat pee? Staff were friendly enough although the manager(?) had a massive verbal fight with someone outside just as we arrived - not very appropriate. Also seemed to be reluctant to recommend anywhere good to eat. (We found Sofias which is really good). Not our favourite stay in Morocco.

Staying at Casa Sabila was one of the highlights of my visit to Chefchaouen, Morocco! The staff was amazing! They were very helpful and very accommodating. The hotel’s location was conveniently located in the heart of the Blue Pearl. The room was small but clean, cozy, and perfect for a solo traveler. The complimentary traditional Moroccan breakfast was delicious. The staff showed me a map of the best places to visit and eat in Chefchaouen, all of which were great recommendations. The staff even made me breakfast to take with me on my early, long bus ride to my next destination. I would recommend Casa Sabila to everyone and if I ever visit Chefchaouen again, I will certainly stay at Casa Sabila!

Very good choice. Very good location - 300 meters from the bus station and 800 meters from the entrance to Medina. The personnel was very kind; helpful but not overwhelming. Not only do they explain where you can take the best pictures, what’s worth seeing but thet also share all the information on Google Maps. This was really useful. It’s like if you were given a guidebook. The room is large, new, peaceful, comfortable, clean. Great breakfast. The hotel is without a doubt worth recommending

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at villa Rita. It’s not right in the Medina which for us was a bonus as we like to stay away from the action in quieter neighborhoods. It’s a short cab ride ($2) from the Medina or a 30 minute walk. We visited at a non peak tourist time so we were given a choice of rooms. They are spacious…bedroom, sitting room, bathroom and kitchenette. Very nicely decorated, clean, comfortable and well appointed. There are 2 outside rooftop terraces for relaxing and nice views. The breakfast was incredible. We had the choice to have it on our room or on the balcony. So many offerings delivered to our room…a lovey over easy egg, crepes, rolls, cheesed, lovely fresh fruit, olives, fresh squeezed orange juice. It’s a guest house, not hotel, so the desk is not staffed so if you want full concierge service you might want to choose a hotel. But, we were warmly greeted and oriented and given keys to the outside door/gate as well as our room so we could come and go at any time. I highly recommend this beautiful, charming, place for your stay in Chefchaouen!

I was amazed by beauty and serenity of the surrounding nature. The place is cozy offering all the amenities I needed for my stay. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I particularly enjoyed waking up to the sounds of the flowing river and the birds singing. Many outdoors activities are available: long walk in the nature,hiking by the waterfalls, quad... Very safe area, I was walking by myself at night from the village to the lodge, local people are so nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

During a three-night visit in July, my wife and I were captivated not only by the enchanting charm of Chefchaouen but also by the unique allure of our chosen accommodation. Chefchaouen, with its picturesque blue-painted buildings, is a haven for travelers seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. This quaint city is surrounded by natural wonders, and its rich history is exemplified by attractions like the old mosque, Sabanin, and the neighboring school named after the 18th-century Muslim theologian Soulayman El Hawat. The neighborhood's watermills, notably the hotel's previous incarnation as a watermill, serve as a testament to the city's ancient past. Our chosen abode, Hotel Molino Garden, proved to be a rare gem at the heart of Chefchaouen. Situated on the outskirts of the old city, the hotel's calm ambiance was an oasis within an oasis. The magical garden, a collaborative effort with the neighboring primary school, transported us to a world of serenity. Designed with impeccable taste, the garden featured bamboo trees, goldfish ponds, and an ingenious layout that cocooned us from the city's clamor, while seamlessly connecting us to the majestic mountain backdrop. The hotel's rooms were an embodiment of comfort and history. Our first night was spent in the Garden Room, a cozy apartment with two bedrooms and a living room, all overlooking the captivating garden. Despite the summer heat, the room remained naturally cool, eschewing the need for air conditioning. The second night introduced us to a separate apartment adjacent to the hotel - a meticulously restored old house exuding aesthetics and charm. Once again, the absence of air conditioning was hardly a concern, as the natural ventilation kept us comfortable. Our final night at Hotel Molino Garden saw us in a cozy room on the upper floor, providing a glimpse of the lively alley leading to the hotel entrance. Each accommodation told a unique tale, seamlessly blending modern amenities with the city's rich heritage. No visit to Chefchaouen would be complete without indulging in its culinary delights. With guidance from locals, we embarked on a gastronomic journey. Restaurant Bab Ssour stole our hearts with its delectable local offerings and incredible flavors. The restaurant's two branches, both boasting stunning terraces and panoramic views, were equally enchanting. Another culinary highlight was Restaurant Triana, where a delightful breakfast and a riverside terrace provided an unforgettable dining experience. Although the food was mostly exceptional, a minor hiccup was encountered with the Tira Asada, where the beef's dryness detracted from an otherwise delightful meal. For quick bites and refreshing juices, the main square led us to MIDO's. Their impeccable falafel and warm hospitality made it a go-to spot for rejuvenating snacks.

JJUNLONGThe hotel is not bad and popular. Chefchaouen is not as good as imagined, this hotel is in the center of Chefchaouen, and the so-called center is the end of a vegetable market. The hotel's value for money is ok, the owner is very nice and the service is very good. The facilities in the rooms are good and clean. The breakfast was made by the owner's family. The orange juice I squeezed was delicious. The little brother at the end was very shy. It is recommended to stay.

BberryshultsCasa Meryem is a quaint accommodation atop a hill in the blue city. There are several different rooms on different levels in the building. The views are beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. We loved staying here and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The city is magical and the people friendly and non-assuming. We missed Youssef when he tried to pick us up at the bus station. We got a ride to the medina and we got a little lost looking for Casa Meryem. We stopped in an establishment and had them call Casa Meryem for us. Someone arrived immediately, helped with our bags and led us to our destination. Their response time is almost instantaneous. We had two bedrooms with 5 beds, an eating area, small kitchen and bathroom. Upon arrival Youssef served us tea while we visited with him and asked a million questions. While the ”Casa” is wonderful, the true gem here is Youssef. He is knowledgeable, patient, kind and willing to take you anywhere, help you find anything and make thoughtful and insightful suggestions as to things to see, places to go and the best way to get there. He personally escorted us wherever we wanted to go if we needed him. He was always available and responded immediately. He arranged our private taxi to Tangier. Once we arrived in Tangier and realized that our place was sketchy and we didn't trust our hosts to arrange transport to the airport I texted Youssef and asked him if he could help us. Rememeber that, at this point, we are 3 hours from Chefchaouen and will not see Youssef again during our travels. In other words he had no incentive to go so far out of his way to help out two American women. My sister and I were traveling with 5 teenagers and none of us speak French or Arabic. Youssef took all our travel information, figured out where we needed to be picked up, and within 30 minutes had arranged 2 separate transports to the airport for us for the next day. All of this was made more difficult because the place we were staying had no wifi so our communication was sporadic and tenuous at best. He checked in with me the next morning after my sisters transport had arrived to make sure everything had happened as it should. He continued to follow our progress throught out the day ensuring that we had made it to the airport and then arrived at our first destination. I cannot say enough good things about this man. GGuest UserHôtel très bien situé, à 160m de la place centrale. Les hôtes sont souriants et disponible. Il y a de quoi se garer juste devant l’hôtel. Quand on rentre dans l’hôtel on tombe sur une grande pièce avec des fauteuils au milieu et les chambres sont autours. Au dessus il y a encore des chambres et au dernier étage il y a une terrasse avec une belle vue. La chambre est propre, pas de mauvaise odeur et pas de poussière. Pour moi l’hôtel a un très bon rapport qualité prix mais le hic c’est la douche qui se trouve au même endroit que les toilettes. C’est très petit, ok pour une petite toilette mais une douche ça m’a l’air compliqué. Pour ceux qui ont un sommeil léger oublié car quand on est au rdc à côté de la réception on entend tout jusqu’à minuit et après c’est le grand calme jusqu’à 11h sans problème. Pour ma part jetait inquiète quand je me suis endormie mais agréablement surprise le matin vraiment aucun bruit. Nous sommes resté une nuit et je ne regrette pas.
