Microtel by Wyndham Properties in Chengdu

Came back from Mount Siguniang with my boyfriend and booked two nights at this hotel, haha! The hotel has a gym and a laundry room, so we were able to do a massive load of washing. When we checked in, a guy with a fringe even gave us breakfast vouchers! The hotel entrance and corridors always smell lovely. There weren't many guests when we arrived, and the staff member even personally escorted us to our room after check-in – happy days! The room was very quiet, and the window insulation was excellent. There's a bus stop right next door, and the nearby roast duck and lamb hotpot are both delicious. There's also a Dalongyi Hotpot about 200 meters away (their tender beef is amazing!). When we were about to mail back our down jacket and thick shoes from our hike, we realized we didn't have a box... We asked the front desk for help, and they actually found a cardboard box and brought it up to our room (thank you!) I'd definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Chengdu!
