Hotels near Iyyappan Temple, Chennai

Room is good, but there are no full set of amenities. Restaurant is not in operation except for the breakfast till 10 am. Room cleanliness is good but the property cleanliness needs to be improved. Hotel landline is not working to contact the property unless you book in the third party site and get the property manager number. Property surroundings are not that safe to the families and the surrounding are filled with the cars that comes for service and the trucks.

Got to know thru mm t only. We booked this property for our family stay. A decent and cost-effective stay. They won't arrange food, we need to take care outside. Otherwise property ambience is neat

We went there to attend a function in one of their banquet halls. Nice ambience. Well maintained corridors and common spaces. Washrooms also very clean. But the food was very average and little spicy also..refilling was very slowly..once we went to a get together, at that time food was good..

The rooms were so good, i loved the cots and mattresses. Service was good and even washrooms were so clean and well maintained. I can say its worth the price

I stayed with my friend at Beverly hotel Chennai The hotel is a very quiet and good place I booked through one travel agent....we wanted to check in early but the lady at the reception if I remember her name is Jennifer, she was very kind and patient enough to explain to us that when we come through travel agents we need to check in only by 12.00 and check out by 12.00 the next day, it was to our suprise that she gave us so much time by explaining and telling us to book through the hotel online where there is a 24 hours checkout and discount on laundry and food, no one has time to explain in other hotels like how she did, when we go to other hotels it is like you check in, get your room keys, go to the room and then check out, but in Beverly hotel it is very different, from the reception, to the room, to the restaurant and till the main door.... staff treated us so well, we are from HCL company, Hyderabad....will definitely recommend this hotel to all near and dear ones....once again thank you Jennifer for your support and continue to do your best at all times....

Temporary fixed old hotel, good price, good service, no need to be too detailed, basically has made the level of more than 500 hotels in China.

Very Good place to stay in Chennai particularly for business travellers. You start with a very professional check in experience from the front office staff led by the ever helpfull and smiling Mr. ALEX. Very Good food, sumptuous breakfast. A visit to the in-house restaurant Oriental Blossom is a must. Rest assured that The ***ager Mr. Bala will take good care and pamper you with the best of Chinese food. Highly recommend.

We reached the hotel from the airport by metro rail. Nehru Park is the nearest metro station, which is only two blocks away. Check-in took about 15 minutes, though we were the only people to check-in. This is a very old property and lack of maintenance makes it look older. Room is quite large, but the mattress was saggy and the sheets and pillows looked shabby. The single seater sofa in the room was without one leg and was full of stains. The curtains also looked like it was not washed in the near future. Though I heard someone complaining on air conditioning, it was working well in our room. Complimentary water bottles were provided. The wall laminations were peeling off in certain places. TV remote was not working. Bathroom was large, but, the only two bath towels were provided and I didn’t feel like using it. There were no hand towels or face towels. The toilet seats were not in proper place. Water was leaking from the wash basin area and the floor was always wet. There was no floor towel. The towel rack was rusty. Toiletries were of sub-standard quality. As breakfast was not included in the tariff, we had to pay for the buffet breakfast, which was sub-standard. Items in the buffet were idly, Pongal, dal wada, dosa and porotta, Fruits, salad and juice were name sake with some fruits and few tomatoes and cucumber kept in a bowl. In the continental sections, there was oats, boiled eggs and some muffins. Air conditioning was not on, maybe because we were the only guests in a huge restaurant, which could accommodate about 100 guests. This indicates the occupancy also. Though they offer free Wi-Fi, we never got connected. We took up the matter with the reception staff, but they could not sort it out. The staff were polite, but, however hard they try, they will not be able to make the guests happy, unless the management is serious on re-furbishing the property and do timely maintenance.

Room was clean, good bed linen, bathroom was clean, some leaks and stains. Main issue was location was wierd, part of a club, and there is no signboard for the hotel, can't see the hotel on google maps either. Are they running the hotel without a license?
