It is very convenient to get to the train station, there is a bus station opposite, quiet and quiet, and the room is clean and relatively new. It was only twelve in the morning, but the jamal at the front desk was very service-minded. I checked the existing rooms to check in, which made me check in early. Very good experience. The rooms are cost-effective and there are supermarkets and small shops in the surrounding area.

This is my second time staying at this hotel and I just cannot fault the service. Esther on reception was so helpful and even brought a little cuddly toy up to the room for my two year old daughter. The travel cot I had pre-ordered was already in the room when we arrived and we were given a lovely big room that the three of us could enjoy without being on top of each other. The room was spotlessly clean and all the cleaning staff were so friendly in the morning. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent (again a high chair was ready and waiting for us when we arrived) and whilst the breakfast is a buffet, it is a good selection and high quality. The only small thing I would suggest is that the quality of the coffee is improved and that all coffees are included in the breakfast as paying extra for a 'speciality coffee' is not really in-keeping with a hotel of this standard.

We booked to stay, as we were attending a 60th Birthday party at the Hotel. We booked and paid online so checking was very easy. We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was very spacious with a large king size bed. Which was extremely comfortable! We were impressed with the newly renovated bathroom, with lovely soft fluffy towels. The room has all the amenities that we needed ie iron, hairdryer and extra pillows. We booked a room with breakfast - which was excellent and was available till 10.30 which was great. A good array of hot food included quality sausages and bacon. All the breakfast staff were very helpful and genuinely cheerful, as were the reception staff and the bar staff and food servers at the evening function. We really enjoyed our stay.

A warm welcome awaits guests to Great Fosters. Clean & pleasant rooms, immaculate bathrooms, comfortable beds, offer an excellent nights sleep. Despite the slightly damp weather we were charmed by the gardens and could quite easily imagine a summers afternoon enjoying each others company in such convivial spaces. We enjoyed a set lunch menu in the ‘Estate Grill’ our group all ordered something different - all arrived at the same time, hot and delicious. Having enjoyed our lunch we settled for a light supper in the bar - we were not disappointed. Breakfast, we opted for a lighter option was also very enjoyable. We look forward to returning to Great Fosters with our faithful hounds for a return visit.

The front desk of the hotel is in the pedestrian street, looking for a long time. Close to the train station and Windsor Castle, convenient transportation and shopping. The hotel is clean, but there is really nothing except bath towels.

Although I reviewed this hotel back in June, I thought I would give an update on our last, and definitely final, visit to this hotel. In July we stayed at the Sheraton for one night and parked our car at the hotel for 3 weeks. After midnight, when we had gone to bed, we heard a high powered car being revved and raced around the car park. Yes, someone was using the car park as a race track, using the cars parked there as the edges of the track! Someone else was taking pictures on their mobile phone. We contacted reception, who sent out a security guard and another member of staff. They, however, obviously knew the people racing the car and had a good laugh and joke with them before returning to the hotel, leaving the racers still revving their car and taking photos. I took photos too (attached). My wife was incensed by this total lack of interest from the hotel, and stormed down to reception. One of the people who had gone out to the car was there, plus the duty manager looking rather sheepish. They apologised with a grin on their faces and seemed to think that it was totally acceptable to them that this was going on as the people racing the car were members of staff!!! An incredible attitude. And it was obvious from their reaction that this was not a first time occurrence. Realising that we weren't going to get anywhere with the totally useless members of staff, and as by now the racers had left, we decided to raise the problems with a senior member of staff the following day. A couple of the managers we spoke to on the following day were disgusted at what had happened the previous night. Unfortunately they had already handed in their resignation as they weren't happy with the way the hotel is being run. So decide if you're happy to leave your car at a hotel that condones its staff using the car park as a race track and what damage they could do to your car. Remember, any damage to your car is not the responsibility of the hotel, even if it's their own staff who have caused the damage! Please read the other reviews regarding cars being damaged at this Hotel. I posted a review on the Marriott website and received a very defensive response from the front desk duty manager. She apologised for the fact that staff were racing cars in the car park but didn't seem to really take it seriously. This experience, combined with the non-working air conditioning in the bedrooms, the tvs in the bedrooms that often don't work, the gaffer-taped tatty old carpeting in the hallways, the scruffy pool area that is hardly ever swept clean, the downgraded quality of the Club Lounge and the withdrawal of the Club concierge service seems to be indicative of a company seeking to justify changing the branding of this hotel to one of Marriotts budget brands. However, they're still charging 4 star prices for a hotel that now struggles to give one star service. Shame on you Marriott for ruining a formerly very good quality hotel. My daughter and I enjoyed a good stay at Travelodge Camberley! The reception was attentive and offered quick and helpful remedy to a couple of little snags, few doing our 10 day stay! A small annoying detail but important during our stay for the Queens Jubilee we was the poor quality of the tv signal!. Otherwise breakfast was great, so I recommend Travelodge without hesitation.

We arrived and parking was good and nearby. As a disabled blue badge holder, there was a good amount of disabled bays and it was free when I presented my blue badge at reception. Check in was quick and efficient. Only one of the two lifts was working, but the hotel didn’t seem too busy so this wasn’t a problem. We had a room for 2 adults and a child, so a double bed and a bunk bed. The room was small, but we only needed it to sleep and so it wasn’t a problem. The cleanliness of the room wasn’t good. The floor was so filthy, that we just threw our socks away because of how black they were. The mattress on the single bunk bed was absolutely disgusting. I have attached photos. The sheet was just a piece of material folded in half, and wasn’t tucked in or anything which is how we noticed the dirty mattress. It was late when we noticed it, so I sent photos and an email to reception, who immediately offered us breakfast free of charge. We declined the breakfast as we already had reservations elsewhere, and we saw that breakfast was very poor with little on offer. The manager then replied and refunded our stay and cleaned the room. The management/reception team were lovely and sorted things swiftly. We would stay again and have stayed in many Ibis hotels, but I will be checking the cleanliness of them closely in future.
