Forget what you think you know about Courtyard Marriott because this one is in desperate need of repairs. They say they are undergoing renovations but from reading the reviews I don’t believe it is a priority because these same complaints about the property have been mentioned since last year. If you are visually impaired the elevator will be confusing for you because the normal dings that sound off when the elevator arrives is not operating. This is something that people who don’t have vision issues probably don’t notice but someone who depends on sounds, equipment, and the aid of other people to move around would certainly notice. That elevator has probably not been inspected in months. I had to switch rooms twice. The last room was subpar as well but at least there were no insects or stains on the pullout mattress. The last room that we actually spent two nights in offered stained carpet, a damaged AC unit, a curious stain on the bed linen, and a musty odor upon entering. Don’t waste your time and money here until their website says the entire hotel has been renovated and you CALL to confirm that each room has been fully renovated. I was told they have renovated rooms but they are not allowed to rent them yet. I will say that although not renovated, the bathroom tub looked clean. The woman working at guest check in when we arrived was kind as well as the woman working in the Bistro. To summarize: Curious stains on bed linen Disgusting stains on mattress Bugs/droppings on mattress Musty smell in room Elevator not ADA compliant Old, broken furnishings Stained carpet in room
