A friend and I stayed at MC as it is situated close to Chester town centre. Location is brilliant. We found our room as there were no staff on site. Electronic keypad entry. We walked into the room and it was tiny. 2x single beds, I think we're 2 foot 6, a small unit acting as a bedside table and coffee spot. If one of us stood up the other had to remain on the bed or in the bathroom. This made it impossible to do anything but sit or lay on the bed. We had no choice but to go out and stay out. There was no wardrobe, but a set of hooks with an ability to have coat hangers. The shower room was okay, with shower gel and shampoo, clothing hooks and towel rail/warmer. The room looked to have been recently redecorated. So it was nicely presented. It was warm enough. But it was a mild weekend. The beds were okay, I like a firm bed and these were not firm enough for me, but that's just my preference. I was under the impression it was bed and breakfast, but the breakfast was extra, the 3 minute walk to wetherspoons sorted breakfast out. Overall, it was clean, bright and very convenient. However, it is unlikely I will stay there again as we found many more places we could stay in as close to the town centre as MC.
