A very welcoming and comfortable place to stay. The first Hotel / guest house where we've stayed and you do not hear the plumbing or conversations from the adjacent / above rooms. Plenty of parking and only a 15 minute or so walk in to the city centre. Good local restaurants and pubs at which to eat. An excellent and varied choice at breakfast. Ray and his staff ensure a very pleasant stay. We will certainly stay again when visiting Chester!

Room was beautifully decorated and appointed, bathroom likewise. Staff friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast excellent - buffet is always a good choice!! Surprised, and disappointed, that our bed was not made on any of the days. Also, one day the drinks tray had not been replenished, and no spare toilet roll supplied.

Beautiful room with everything we could wish for, tv, fridge, microwave and tea and coffee and the bathroom was lovely. The bed was so comfortable and we had a good nights sleep, something we don't normally have in a strange bed! Breakfast was so good and not to mention all of the staff who were so friendly.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, great room with everything I needed. Lovely host. Fabulous breakfast & service. Parking & convenient for walking into Chester. It was perfect for me, gig at the Live rooms and city sightseeing Wouldn't hesitate to book again if I'm in the area

The room had a very strong cigar smell to the point it impregnated all my clothes and suitcase. You could still smell it after several hours that I checked out. I got home in the end of the day and my house got smelly as well. This is not a pleasant experience for non smokers like myself.

Great little bed-and-breakfast. A short walk Into Chester, and close to Faulkner St, where you can grab food and a drink without the city prices. Staff were wonderful and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was well presented. It was a buffet style with eggs made to order. We will definitely be back!

The building is beautiful and very well cared for. Our bedroom was big with a large bathroom, and a very comfortable bed. The proximity to good restaurants and Chester is very good. The down side was being told where to sit in the dining room, it should have been free choice as it was never full. Lighting in the bedroom could also be improved with a desk lamp and standard lamp.
