Embassy Suites by Hilton Philadelphia Valley Forge

I booked this hotel for my friends family. We travel together. This hotel is very clean, super quiet and very convenient for travelers.

I am someone who compulsively reads almost every review before I book a hotel. However, I do not always leave reviews myself. We had such an amazing visit on this stay that I felt compelled to leave a review myself. From the moment that we walked in the hotel, we felt like we Entered a very clean and elite hotel. We appreciated the friendly staff, were impressed with the glass elevator, and our king suite was beautiful, spacious, and just what we needed for our night anniversary getaway. We really appreciated the happy hour, and were astonished that we could get so many different types of drinks! Highly recommend the tequila sunrise. Yum! The only negatives that we found during our trip were that the water pressure was not as strong as we wished it was in the shower, and cell phone reception was only one bar. We loved the open field of the atrium area, and were blown away by the breakfast options! The made to order omelettes were delicious, staff were so upbeat, and there were so many other choices to eat (loved the fresh fruit and the fact that we ate on real plates with silverware!). We did not go swimming as the pool water felt a little cooler than we would have chosen. We picked up the lamb platter for dinner from a local restaurant called Fattoush (delicious!). All in all, it was a fantastic stay, and if we are ever in the area again, we know where to stay! Highly recommend!

I loved my stay at embassy suite. It was great. We had everything we needed, and the suite was a very good size . Breakfast was very decent . I recommend.

The hotel was clean. Breakfast was good, like most Embassy suites had made to order omelettes, etc The room was the issue. There were broken hooks in the bathroom. I understand people put too heavy items on them. But fix them. Then after a long day of travel, I couldn't get the shower on. The handle would not turn. My husband was asleep. So I had to wash at the sink. We don't bring a wrench when we travel. The next morning, my husband struggled with the shower. I called the front desk and asked if he could use the shower in an empty room. They said engineering came in at 8:00. We wanted an early start to go Valley Forge and then Philadelphia earlier in the day. He finally got the shower to work. When he turned it off, it leaked. Frustrating way to start the day. The man from Engineering did knock on our door after breakfast. We explained the problem but said we were getting ready to leave. I'd find another hotel in the area for the price

Very nice hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. The best thing was breakfast. Eggs and omelets made to order. Also several other choices not seen in other free hotel breakfasts. Only room issue was paint on shower ceiling peeling. However, we were a little annoyed at check-in. We checked-in online and chose a room. We went to the counter to get a room key card. The gentlemen said, "I give you different room." I asked why, and the response was, "Room no good." Is it that hard to find someone that speaks english to operate your front desk?

The hotel has a nice modern look & feel and I liked that there were several spacious common areas for team gathering and socializing. I had very little interaction with staff but when I did, they were friendly. However, my room was not clean. Surfaces were dusty. Hair on bathroom floor and sink. Shower curtain moldy. Our bedroom door was busted and wouldn’t shut all the way. Our toilet ran the entire time we were there. I was charged an additional $50 deposit for “incidentals” on a room that clearly already had several incidents prior to my arrival.
