Not a bad hotel, located in the old town. Breakfasts are a la carte, the choice is not big, if you take for 2-3 days, then it is ok, if longer - then it is better to book without breakfast and eat somewhere else, there are many cafes with delicious breakfasts within walking distance. Parking for 4 cars is next to the hotel. In the room on the second floor you can hear the noise from the road.

Two elderly families went on a self-guided tour of Chiang Mai. After choosing it on Ctrip for a long time, they saw that this hotel would be renovated in early 2023 and was located near the park in the southwest corner of the ancient city. The staff greeted me kindly with a bright smile and I had a pleasant stay. Of all the hotels I booked on this trip, it was the cheapest and most cost-effective with breakfast included. There are some temples and tourist attractions and it's hot so it's a bit difficult to walk around.

From Oct 6 to 26 Nov I was in Chiang Mai. I stayed at the Marigold Lanna Boutique Hotel Thailand, with a few nights at other hotels. But I keep returning to the Marigold. The staff are the nicest people I've met in my travels. The hotel is lovely, and very clean. The staff pay attention to detail. The cafe is not to be missed. Go to the Marigold for the best.

I had a wonderful one-week stay in the beautiful Marigold Lanna. The location is great - inside the old city and close enough to the market where I usually ate dinner, close to restaurants, shops etc. Very nice area to stay in. The street is a bit noisy but not loud enough to keep me up at night. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and really helped whenever I needed it. Jenny, the owner, exchanged money for me once and showed me how to use the Grab app to get a cheap taxi quickly. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The breakfasts were wonderful. Try the grilled shrimp salad or the 3-egg no meat omelette. All breakfasts come with a big plate of fresh fruit - mango, watermelon, papaya, pineapple, etc. Also great coffee and other drinks. All included in the hotel fee. The rooms were lovely. I stayed in a twin room for 6 days and a deluxe double for one day. The deluxe was worth it, lots of space. Beds in both rooms were very comfortable and they had huge wonderfully comfortable fluffy pillows and normal sized ones too. I will always stay at the Marigold Lanna when I go to Chiang Mai. I highly recommend this lovely boutique hotel with unforgettable staff. 5 stars plus.
