I stayed for 3 nights in Chiang Mai for the first time.
Owner? He calls out to me every morning and asks if the room needs cleaning, and when I ask for towels to be changed, he cleans the room and replenishes plenty of water.
The location is okay. There are a lot of things nearby, such as Akaama Coffee, a famous Khao Soi restaurant, and a cheap massage shop (foot, Thai traditional massage 60mins.200baht). The Wi-Fi was a little weak, but the bed was very comfortable.

My friend and I had an incredible stay in this hostel. We had a private room that was very clean and there was complimentary drinking water every day our room was turned down. The hosts were very friendly. We were able to get 10% of our elephant sanctuary trip through Hug Elephant Sanctuary. Wifi was good and there is tons of food nearby. There is also a 7-11 at the end of the street. It is close to a main street but not on it so you don't hear traffic sounds, but you can easily get a taxi if you walk towards the main street. Across from the 7-11 is an amazing breakfast / lunch spot called Hangee Sanpakoi. You have to try it! 5/5 - I would definitely stay here again and recommend.
