Located in the quiet backstreet even in the middle of old town square. The architecture is traditional local villa style, nice layout in the backyard with tropical greens, the atmosphere is simply decorated with good old days crafts. Local staff are sincere and empathetic which is Thai people’s excellent quality. A perfect hideaway for a relaxing break while experiencing the culture of Chiang Mai.

It’s super nice boutique hotel. Very quiet and peaceful. Superb breakfast. You can get true quality time for resting and relaxing. One thing to complain is that their service people has limited English capability. Sometimes they don’t get what you request for them.

Finally, I checked into the hotel I was most looking forward to on this trip: Rachamankha. It really won my love. This is a very historic hotel, the property of a famous Thai designer. The porch columns of the building show the design genes similar to those of the Tawang Hotel (also by this designer). This hotel has many antique objects, which are placed in every corner of the hotel, and the designer likes Chinese elements very much. There are many blue and white porcelains in the display cabinets, and the tableware in the restaurant is also mainly blue and white. The hotel integrates a large number of Chinese elements into Thai architecture, and there is a small part of the soft furnishings similar to the Nanyang style. Everything is very sophisticated, the old money style that comes to the face, the beauty of precipitation, and many details are worth slowly feeling. A small private hotel composed of several courtyards is more meticulous because of its small scale. There are not many guests, and it has a more private feeling. It is a model of small and beautiful. This time I stayed in a two-bedroom suite, which was very satisfactory in all aspects. Seeing that some travelers’ comments were not so good, maybe some of the most basic room types were too small, and the experience would be worse, but it is also worth staying for the various exquisite facilities in the public area. In short, I like this hotel very much, and this wonderful memory can make me savor it for a long time in the future. Finally, I would like to make some small suggestions about the restaurant. The first thing I cannot accept is that there is a layer of paper on the tablecloth during breakfast (I have never encountered such a situation in high-end restaurants and hotels). I saw that the tablecloth was directly used for dinner. The second is the teapot for English breakfast tea, which is an ordinary glass pot with a very cheap feeling. It should be a silver pot. The third is the double-layer glass cup for American coffee. This and the glass pot in the second item are very inconsistent with the restaurant's main tableware, blue and white porcelain. These three items have destroyed the low-key and classical and noble style created by the hotel. I hope the management can pay attention to some details.

Now hotels are my favorite thing to do. Every time I travel, I choose different hotels according to different travel companions. The Burmese cuisine in the hotel is excellent! The design is in the style of northern Thailand, and the accommodation environment is elegant and quiet! 12-year-olds cannot stay here, mainly to create a quiet accommodation environment! The boss is a collector, and many of his collections are antiques from Myanmar. People who like history and culture can choose this one😁

The room is OK. It is quiet. There are no children. The hotel only has a swimming pool and no gym. The location is good. The breakfast is average.

I'm really sorry, but I have to give this beautiful hotel 1 point, and I think it's a fair score for the following reasons: - I got H1N1 during this visit to Chiang Mai. In a responsible manner, I asked if I could cancel and change my flight ticket back to China, but the conclusion was no. - So I was still allowed to stay, and I didn't take off my mask the whole time. The attitude of the people at the front desk was uncomfortable. I am a patient, not a prisoner. In addition to repeatedly reminding me to wear a mask and stay in the room in an imperative tone, they also kept emphasizing that I should make it known to everyone in the hotel. Fine, I understand. But I don't want to get sick either, can you change your tone? - I'm sick but it doesn't mean I won't pay. There is no welcome at all. I stayed in several other good hotels in Chiang Mai, all of which had a warm welcome ceremony. There was no introduction to the hotel here. When I was waiting for the room, they pointed to the distance and told me to wait there. There was no guide at all, and I was left sitting on a small bench at the door. If you really don't welcome me, why don't you let me cancel, or cancel part of it. - I checked out at night, with four luggages, no one helped, and one woman and two men stood beside me and watched. I understand that I am afraid of being infected, but I can explain it with my mouth, right? - The female supervisor whispered something in Thai to the Thai driver we booked with Ctrip, and the driver didn't want to take us on the spot. Later, Ctrip customer service sent me a message and I learned that she told the local driver that I had an infectious disease... I believe that this reminder is well-intentioned and necessary, but why use such a sneaky way? If there is no special incident, would I recommend rachamankha? The answer is still: NO. Unless you fly to Chiang Mai and want to stay in the comfort zone of the urban middle class, or you have a little money and just want to take some beautiful photos, just ignore what I said. - From the design point of view, I think it is very beautiful, but it can't be called deep. Thai antique furniture with a little Japanese gardening, but when you enter the house, the noisy air conditioner and the shower floor drain with some water stains are just for show. - This price is not very expensive in Shanghai, but it is definitely not cheap in Chiang Mai. A few days ago, we used only 1/3 of this price to experience a Thai design accommodation with an area x2, more authentic and better attitude. It's hard to find but it definitely exists. What puzzles me is that this hotel has the energy to wrap every mineral water bottle with handmade linen, but it doesn't bother to send a plate of welcome fruit. This suddenly makes me miss domestic hotels. No matter what the price is, there will definitely be someone to help with the luggage after getting off the car, just a glance. Not to mention the fruit plate, there may be various small gifts. Although most of them are not valuable, they are really priceless for a good mood. I remember that I got sick when I stayed in a hotel while traveling in China. I also reported it, and the housekeeper immediately sent masks, thermometers, brown sugar, and a lot of mineral water. There was no nonsense, and those who understand naturally understand. No one wants to take a year off to travel abroad and only lie in the room and watch TV. Hotels cannot expect all guests to be healthy, beautiful, have good personalities, and spend more money and less. Guests are people, and people have problems. A good hotel can not only embrace the beauty of guests, but also deal with the unpleasantness of guests. If I were to summarize my negative review in one sentence, it would be: I came to Chiang Mai from tense Shanghai to find a real sense of relaxation, but this hotel was trying its best to pretend to relax!

The hotel is quiet and very clean. The service is very good and the stay is very comfortable. I will choose Ratchamanka next time I come to Chiang Mai.

It is really a very tasteful hotel in a niche market. This is the most artistic hotel I have ever stayed in.
