Location was excellent and staff were very friendly. I enjoy breakfast by the pool every morning. Only small concern was the line of many ants situation in the bedroom, on the tables mostly! Lovely stay otherwise!

The hotel appears as an antique outlook, however the internal hardware of the property (electric appliances, sockets) is in need of replacement, signs of aging are visible. Beware of the safety!

Charming hotel located in the very center of Chiang Mai, yet surrounded by majestic trees and nature. The rooms are cosy and comfortable, and the food is amazing! Highly recommended

A quiet hotel in a busy city, not big but very exquisite. I recommend the food in the restaurant, it's very delicious! The only downside is that I had asked the hotel in advance to arrange a room with a good view, but in the end I was still arranged in a corner.

It's really average. The outside view is nice but the room is terrible (~_~💧). It's dark and damp, with lots of bugs. It's not friendly to Chinese people! The second floor is better. After a long communication, we changed to a sunny room. It's really terrible o(╥﹏╥)o Everyone, avoid it! The room is very small. How can I say it? 500 RMB is OK, but it's better to stay for thousands. It's dark and damp.

The service is very good ❤️ This review is to especially thank the front desk brother who helped us at 3 am on August 2. We are a family of three who stayed at the Tawang Hotel for 2 nights from July 30 to August 1, because we had a flight back to China at 0 am on August 2. So on August 1, we chose another hotel next door to stay for half a day. At 3 am. On the way to the airport, I didn't expect that the driver I gave to Ctrip didn't pick us up according to the order time. Our family of three was really at a loss on the road in Chiang Mai at more than 3 am, and we were anxious and worried that we would miss the flight home. We took our children and ran in the empty Chiang Mai Ancient City in the heavy rain. We couldn't find anyone to help us. Many hotel front desks were empty. I was really scared at the time, so I returned to the Tawang Hotel and met a brother on duty at the hotel. At about 3 o'clock, he kindly helped us re-book a car so that we could get to the airport smoothly. I really appreciate this big brother 🙏🙏🙏. The hotel has a reasonable room design and a superior location. It is located in the center of the night market, quiet in the midst of the hustle and bustle. The hotel is decorated in a full colonial style. The rooms, corridors, and lobby are filled with colorful Phalaenopsis orchids, which are beautifully tailored. The waiters understand English and there is no problem in communication. Finally, the hotel also provides children's extra beds for free. The noise in the room can also be handled in time. The hotel has 3 entrances and exits, which is convenient for guests to choose freely.

If you like simple country-style accommodation, this hotel is your best choice. However, if you want to enjoy an excellent hotel accommodation experience during your trip and want to get up and enjoy delicious breakfast every day, it is recommended to look at surrounding hotels.

I chose this place because of its excellent location, in the center of the ancient city, on the main road, not remote. The environment outside the hotel is elegant, the furnishings in the room are really old, the hygiene is very average, the faucet is full of stains, and the carpet is broken and old. The breakfast variety is average, and the overall service awareness is not as good as a few years ago.

Overall, there's nothing wrong with it. It's a decent hotel! The tamarind tree in the yard is very impressive The only drawback is that there is really nothing to eat for breakfast!

The room is small, the facilities are simple, sufficient but not luxurious, and the wash cups are not particularly clean. But these are not important.
