SuanTung Coffee & Guesthouse

I stayed at the Suan Tung Coffee hotel in October with my family (2+2) and friends (also 2+2). We lived in a tiny two-story room - downstairs there was a bedroom with a double bed, a small table, a clothes hanger, a fridge, a TV, and upstairs there were only two mattresses thrown directly on the floor. Spaces tight but neat. The bathroom was also unique, because in a small room there was a toilet and a shower head with a flow-through thermal bath - no curtain, no wall separating one from the other - nothing. When you took a shower, everything "floated" and you had to go to the toilet barefoot or in flip-flops. A sink with a mirror outside the bathroom, under the stairs to the upper floor. Separate air conditioners in both rooms. Daily cleaning and fresh towels and bottled water in the fridge. My friends got a room on the first floor in another part of the hotel, they had one common room for four people, a bathroom in the corridor together with another room. Hotel guests had at their disposal a common area upstairs - a sofa, a few chairs, and a fridge. The hotel provided breakfast - always the same: one fried egg, two small sausages, one slice of toast, a small piece of salted butter and a small jam. Plus a carrot and cabbage salad with mayonnaise. You could order coffee, warm milk or cocoa. In the garden there is a small pool with Koi carps, which our children loved watching and feeding. The staff hardly speaks English, so it's difficult to communicate. Hotel in a good location - one evening there was a night market right outside our windows. There is an inexpensive Thai massage parlor nearby.
