Good location - close to downtown and magnificent mile. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Inventory in good condition - a little bit obsolete. Breakfast was super good but make sure to arrive early since it can get quite busy. Staff is very friendly and helpful overall.

It is a very good hotel, I have been here three times. Good staffs! I left my jacket in breakfast hall and didn’t realize it till it was cold 2 days later…and I asked the staff during my breakfast, she immediately went to find it out for me! Warm feeling now…

We were really excited as this was our first trip to Chicago and this hotel was recommended to us. I loved that it had an indoor pool for my kids to swim in, free continental breakfast and a good location. When we booked our trip, the price was $255 a night, but when we got there, I saw online it was $145/night which is more reasonable given all the issues we encountered. We got there late at night and didn’t have any issues checking in. The next day we went to use the pool and it was ice cold. My kids were in it for maybe 5 minutes and were done because it was too cold. I told the front desk and they contacted maintenance to see what was wrong. The table in our room was falling apart and broke when my one year old was under it. My husband caught it and put it back together. We contacted the front desk  and maintenance eventually came and put brackets on the legs to “stabilize” it. We tried the pool the next day, and it was ever colder. My husband said it was colder than a lake. Contacted the front again and they would look at it. The A/C in our room was broken and said it was set for 65 degrees but the room was reading 78 degrees. The pictures of the pool area also showed a hot tub, which was not the case. I tried to use our phone to call the front about something and both phones were broken and not working. We also weren’t given our vouchers for the bar until the last day we were there. Overall it was disappointing stay for the week. 

Amazing accommodations for a group of very weary travelers of getting us situated earlier than planned.   Rooms were clean and comfortable. We much appreciated the happy hour and breakfasts!  Jose was efficient, affable, and professional.  

The hotel is conveniently located in the busiest downtown. Large room. But the hotel is older than the internal environment. Breakfast at the hotel is quite generous. Better for hotels in the United States. But be sure to go earlier. The restaurant closes at 9:30 on time.
