Great hotel in really good location.

The location is great, right by the river, with the Corncob Building and Trump Tower on the opposite bank. It's nice to walk along the sunken river bank. The room was very clean. The mattress is very comfortable.

The location is very good, surrounded by business districts and subways. Breakfast is also available, very good. I will continue to travel here next year. The room should be as high as possible, otherwise it will be very noisy at night.

The location is in the city center and very convenient

The location is excellent, located on the edge of the Chicago River, the subway station is downstairs, and the city view of some high-rise floors is very shocking. The hygiene is impeccable and the housekeeping service is meticulous. The fly in the ointment is that the hotel is relatively stingy, and there is no gift in the room. You have to ask the front desk for drinking water. The swimming pool is a little small and the gym is a little old.

Intercity trains are noisy!

There is no parking place at the door and there is no valet. Walking to the parking lot at 4.50 a night is expensive and troublesome.

This renaissance hotel exceeds expectations, beautiful, walking distance to both river walk and millennium park. Such a nice lobby and rooms immaculate. Will definitely stay here again.

It wasnt our first choice but we needed something quickly that was available with a pool and hot tub as our original hotels pool area was out of service due to a pipe burst the day before we went to check in. We were under the assumption that they did had a hot tub but upon arrival we learned they did not and a bit disappointed as it was our last night of spring break and looked forward to relaxing in it before a long drive home. Pool was a bit too cold for us to swim. Would most likely stay again but maybe in the summer time.

This property was awesome! My stay was great! Parking is a no! Very expensive but you don’t need a car everything is right around you so skip getting a car and walk!

I had a fantastic experience. I will definitely be using this facility again! So well kept, and the Valet parking is must. Everything is within walking distant from restaurants, museums, and shows. Fantastic highly highly recommend!!!

It's clear that Marriott's Bonvoy does not play nice with guests that use third party booking sites (Hotels-OneKey) and go out of their way to punish those that don't book direct. The taunting by Bonvoy started several days before my stay (I AM a longtime Bonvoy member). The e-mails were upbeat "Check In Early", "Select Your Bedding". Until you try and it ended up "OH' "So sorry you booked third party" "Pack Sand". Then at checking in. "Do I get complementary bottled water as a Bonvoy Member" "OH" "So sorry - you didn't book direct. Then WI-FI. I went through the sign-in, and at the end, "OH" "So sorry, you need to pay us $14.95" Now, the last one really hurts because I WAS CHARGED A $25.00 USE FEE! Why isn't Free Wi-fi covered as "Use"? And. Lets consider this property. It was built in the last century as a Stouffer's Hotel. Yes. The frozen meat loaf people. Ask yourself. When was the last time you stayed in a Stouffer's Hotel? Exactly. They have done multiple reno's to the lobby space. Not so much the rooms. This is the high-end Marriott flag. If so, can they bring the toilets out of the 80's? Our's was about 10" off the ground. I bet even Red Roof's don't have squatty potties any longer.
