The rooms are super clean, and the location is right by everything, from bars, restaurants, the river walk. Also, the hotel staff was phenomenal. We need help with a friend and they assisted us without any complaints, and told us to reach out if we needed anything else.

We had a great time. Ms Judy was so pleasant and a great help. Daviel was also great as our server and gave great recommendations. The views are beautiful. I would definitely come back on my next visit. The Brussels Sprouts and Shrimp were a table favorite!!

After a long day at the airport, we were warmly greeted by Luigi at The Gwen. He shined his light bright as he checked us in to our very spacious room. It was the perfect tonic to our very stressful day. We had a drink on the rooftop bar of a spectacularly beautiful Chicago day and then on to our comfortable room. Thank you for the fantastic experience.

Came here for the first time with my sister. The hostess who seated us wasn’t too friendly however, the manager Boris was so kind and accommodating, he really made my sister and I feel welcome. My server, Sean (I believe that’s his name) was also very sweet and attentive. Overall, the food was satisfactory and this is a great place to lounge with family/friends. Thank you for your hospitality! Will be visiting again soon.

LuiGi is an AMAZING asset to the company. He made our stay very personable! Because of his personality I will share with my family and friends. The food was yummy. The rooftop experience was is a 5 Star Experience! You will not be disappointed! Thank me later!

My family and I stayed at the Gwen the weekend of Father’s Day and we had a great time! Michael Ortiz and Patrick C. were incredible when we visited Upstairs at The Gwen. Service was great, food was fantastic and we were super happy with everything!

I had the pleasure of experiencing The Rooftop at the Gwen. I originally had a reservation for an indoor table for 4, but after speaking with Kate, we were able to take advantage of an outdoor opening. This would not have happened if Kate didn't willfully search it out for us. I'm the midst of the restaurant being extremely, Kate truly represented the Gwen well by smiling and making it happen! This set the tone for a great experience. Thank you, Kate!

I highly recommend. Beautiful hotel and great location. The view from my room was amazing! I received wonderful service from the front desk attendant, Luigi, and the bellhop Jordy! The hotel has a beautiful lounge area at the Terrace with an great selection of delicious appetizers and refreshing cocktails. I enjoyed my girls trip and I am looking forward to staying at The Gwen Hotel in the near future.
