The Hosteller Chikmagalur

We reached a bit late but the stay was comfortable. Perfect location. Stelin although recently joined, ensured we had a comfortable check in to check out experience.

Home stay is good, food is expensive, it would be nice if you have a bike, no hotels near the hos-teller home stay.

The experience was great and the staff was very helpful. Overall its a excellent place to stay in chikmangalore.

Food was good. Waiting time is too long. Staff has no clarity on their work. Im disappointed in washroom. They were not clean.

The place is cleanly maintained and looks good. But i will not recommend this place to anyone. Because the location is way far from the city making it difficult to travel and since the property is within forest there are no restaurants nearby. And the food here is soooooo costly, a coffee costs 80rs+gst+convenience fee making is 90rs for a single coffee. This is the lowest price. We have to collect the food at reception no room service, i don't understand what the convenience fee is for. And kitchen opens only 9am to 3pm and 6pm to 9pm. If you need something at any other time, you've to swiggy it which takes minimum 1hour. Late check in time (2pm) long check in process, each person has to make an entry online that takes 10 mins. They are not flexible at all. The stay just increased our cost at no benefit. Very disappointed

My dorm bed was clean. Washroom was cleanest in the hosteller property. Wifi in my was good as last time during my visit it was not working. Food was great and they make fresh here. Price was reasonable. Common area inside was small but outer common area was huge. They also arranged bonfire and music which was superb. Staff was really helpful and guy named anuj ***** with mates ran it really well.
