Katikan homestay is a wonderful place which is in center of wonderful valleys of Kuduremuk and South canara. I has a vide spread coffee estate and also a green rich forest un touched with beautifull nature consisting of floura and fauna. Right from the property owner, to the manager to the chef are all courteous and so friendly in nature. They guide the guest about the places to visit and also help us for transport and with the contact. Food is so amazing that they customize it to our requirement and taste. Property is very well maintained in terms of Hygene and they extend great hospitality. Amazing experience was we asked for a particular menu and it was served much before our expected time and with great taste. It is a must to visit location in our wish list and would like to emphasize the point that this is an undiscovered location where most of the travelers have not explored. It is less crowded so that you have your privacy to relax. Rates are also quite affordable and the places to visit are quite close to the location like Kalasa, Horanadu, Sanse, Shringeri, Kuduremuka, Maidai, Rani Jari, Amba Theertha, Soormane falls and many more places. Nice old school stay. Have both suites as well as multi person per room (as high as 8). We went as a group of almost 20. Beautiful ambience. Very helpful owner. Good food. But let them know your spice tolerance in advance. All in all, an awesome experience
