The service was nice and the location was great❤️😁

Longest check in I've ever experienced. Had paid for a King room, none available. There was no blanket on the bed, just a sheet and a sheet like bed spread. Eating off styrofoam is unpleasant and non eco friendly. No recycling containers anywhere.

Very nice, clean, quiet place for a little getaway. Friendly staff and excellent service. Will definitely return. Thank you!

The hotel itself is serviceable nothing fancy but it gets the job done-I’d stay away from the cereal at breakfast though it was very stale. The management however is the worst. I made a reservation on May 3 for May 31 (made changes later but that’s outside the scope of this review) however they charged my credit card for a reservation on 5/3 when I called to complain I spoke to a woman I thought was the manager I was told they would apply the charge toward my upcoming stay on 5/31 and I was fine with that but when we checked out we charged the full amount when I went to the manager she said wasn’t the one I spoke with about 5/3 which I find suspicious and she said no record of the reservation in her system but she had to check with their credit card company which seems odd why would the credit company have records she doesn’t but I didn’t think about till later cause I was on a schedule. When I called her today to follow up she told me that the credit card company told there was a reservation that went into no show and that she spoke to my uncle (who I had told her was part of our party) and he agreed that there had been a reservation but when I asked him he said he couldn’t speak to her and that he didn’t think he would have said anything like that since it wasn’t his place to speak to what I did or didn’t do and I’m inclined to believe him-he generally doesn’t want part of anything that doesn’t involve him so she couldn’t issue a refund. You’re better of staying anywhere else on the island or the mainland for that matter, they (likely) won’t rip you off.

New owner and renovations are underway. Quiet and for the money couldn't be beat. Owner is extremely nice and goes out of his way to make you comfortable. Rooms are a little small but not terrible. Overall, a great value and I would stay again.

Very nice and attentive staff. Check in process was so quick (after completing it online)- that I got my key as soon as I walked through the door. Building is a bit dated, but guests must take into account this is chincoteague and not all the buildings are modern and up to date. Breakfast was good. We were out of the hotel for most of the day so it served its purpose for us.

Very comfortable and great price! Basic free breakfast but glad it was there. Quiet location. Manager was very helpful and it was easy to see that he loves the area, and he enthusiastically gave us suggestions for how to see the wild ponies and where to eat.

Room was ok. Quiet, as I literally was the only guest. The tub drained very slowly and the washcloths were dirty. Advertised free breakfast, there was none. First the clerk tried to tell me it was too early (7:30am), then mumbled about delivery issues. Did not appreciate being blatantly lied to.

The staff was very nice, and house keeping did a good job cleaning. The property is run down: holes in the bathroom walls where the old shower curtain mounts were pulled out, stained chair in the room, leaky toilet that partially refilled itself every ten minutes. The breakfast was a waffle maker, cereal, toast and sausage. It was OK if you can make due. The coffee was not good. The location was great and the grounds were in good condition.
