The hot springs are beautiful and the hotel is very kind. I wanted to come again.

For the purpose of mountain climbing, this time I was taken care of for ２ nights. It is perfect for the base of Yatsugatake mountain climbing. You can go to each mountain climbing gate in about 30 minutes. The response of the front desk staff woman was very good. There are also large baths and sauna on the first floor. The Viking style breakfast was delicious. Overall, a nice stay at a decently modern hotel with a nice public bath at the top. First things first, I don't recommend staying here unless you have a car or are prepared to walk. Chino Station is about a half hour walk from here and taxis out from the hotel require a call, and in the morning, they said it's not possible to get a taxi (unless you reserve one well in advance). If you do want to rely on taxis, it was about 1400 yen per way to the station. That being said, the building/lobby are nice, lots of parking out front, and the room is decent. I prefer this room proportion to the usual long and skinny business hotel type. If you can, I suggest staying at the highest floor possible (11) so that when you go down, you are the first into the lift, save for anyone coming from the bath. Also, the bath is at L12 so you'll be close to that. Best part of the property is the public bath at L12 with an indoor bath, sauna and outdoor bath. In the morning, you can get a nice sunrise from the men's side and I assume you can get a nice sunset view from the female side. Nearby you have a bunch of places to eat within walking distance like Yoshinoya, Osho, a soba place across the street, another houtou place, and also a small ***** mall with a yakiniku restaurant, Coco Ichiban, Aeon supermarket and some clothing shops. There's a Lawsons really nearby as well. Didn't try the breakfast. I recall reading complaints about the lift. For our stay In December 2022, we didn't encounter any excessively long waits for the lift. Overall, not bad but as mentioned, it's far from the station if you don't have a car (and if you need a car, there's some rental car places near the station (Nissan, Nippon)

Breakfast was good. Fruit comes out enough to have fruit. There are meat, fish, vegetables and celery, and I can feel good that I don't run away only to fly. There was also yogurt, and I was able to eat color 々 without getting tired even if I stayed overnight. The bed is also good with Simmons. The chair was also firmly backed up. The hot spring was small but real. It is a plus that there was a water server. There was tea, green tea and dripping coffee in the room, so I came to drink water. It seems that you can stay at a good price if you make a reservation early, but I think Cospa is quite good.

This hotel really needs a good review. It is so satisfying. After playing Tateyama Kurobe, we stopped at Kamisuwa in Nagano on the way back to Tokyo. Lake Suwa is the holy place of your name. It takes about ten minutes to walk from the station, but the road is not difficult to walk. Just follow the navigation. The hotel room can see the lake. The location is very good. The hotel is facing the lakeside park and geyser. The hotel is a traditional hot spring hotel. The front desk staff is very friendly. There is a special person to take the room and introduce the whole hotel. It is a very good experience. There is a Japanese customer service at the front desk who can speak a little Chinese. He is warm and polite. He also helped us to arrange a taxi to Shiraishi Park. The hotel has indoor pools and outdoor pools. There are very few people. The hot spring is a rare amber spring. It is so comfortable to soak. I ordered dinner. The dinner was amazing and Japanese. In short, I was very happy to choose this hot spring hotel at that time. I will definitely stay there next time. Check in the hometown of Shinkai City.

The staff, service, facilities, and room were top notch. Once our stay was booked, we received an email questionnaire. We are both vegan and they accommodated our preference. asking for our preferences. You can select between Japanese and French cuisine. We both opted for Japanese. When we arrived, they staff greeted us kindly and it was a delightful surprise to be led into a room filled with Christmas decorations. We booked the ”Standard Zen Suite” and were not disappointed. It comes with your own private indoor-outdoor onsen. It was heaven. If you are new to onsen, they also provide helpful instructions upon arrival that you can read. It was my absolute favorite onsen experience. There are three different onsens for guests, each separated by gender. They also provide popsicles, hot/cold tea, in addition to the standard shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair tonic, skin lotion etc. When we were there they had two shuttles which ran from Matsumoto Station to pick you up. One at 3:15 pm and another at 4:30 pm. We would both love to return!
